i didnt workout for 8 days cuz i didnt have gym access but now i am back at it do u think i lost size/strenght?i still ate and reached my macros

If anything it's not gonna matter. Don't forget about muscle memory. Once you get back in there, you'll be back to your regular self. Also, maybe that week off helped. You're possibly gonna be stronger

We all do. Whenever I miss a workout (like today), or performed horribly in comparison with what I regularly do, I always think that I am going to get weaker now for not doing what I have been, for the last months. It's the mind that's ****ing with us, but I think in reality nothing has changed a bit as far as appearance goes.

During conventional weight lifting, muscle force production (strength) is diminished for at least 1 to 3 days after the damage has occurred. This loss of strength, which may take 7-14 days to recover, is most likely due to several factors including the disruption of muscle calcium balance and energy production, the poor recovery of muscle energy during this period, and the decrease in muscle protein content. In addition, this loss of strength can cause you to feel like a 90-lb weakling for several days after exercise.
