Sumo is gonna feel like ass after pulling conventional for a while. When I first started pulling sumo my hips hurt for weeks.

Sumo is very technical lift. Try making a check list of each and then visualizing it before hand. I use to read over my list and visualize the pull every night and every morning when I was learning it.. and then when you go to pull it feel more like second nature and you can go through that same check list mentally (only quicker) when your pulling.

Sturggled a bit, but not much. 4th rep I was feeling but never really an issue, and didnt really come close to failing at all. The video is my last set of the day, and took a decent 5-10 minute rest for it. Bar looks to be moving alot faster then I felt it to be, so taht is a good sign! Tomorrow is 10x3 @ 285 . Gunna rape this ****!!
Going out drinkin tonight for a friends 21st, but not too much that im ****ed up for tomorrow. Please stay safe brahs.

Glad to be done. I had alot of fun on Smolov Jr, now it is time to max next week. Really excited to see what I can hit. I used a 300 max for this, but I have hit 315 before. Will be maxing out most likely wednesday or thursday, but I will play it by ear and see how I feel.
Monday will be squats, but until then it will be all projects and papers for school coming to an end.

sup *******? just read your whole thread.. sucks about the inujury, but just take it easy and try and make progress on your other lifts. Sucks you couldn't go to Collegiates either.. Next year though and you should be loads stronger. subbed.

Recovery is finally making a step. Did this today with minor pain, but still soreness. Alot better then it felt the past couple weeks. Hopefully this is a huge plus. Will be icing everyday multiple times a day to get rid of this ****!
Also currently tapering for the max out bench session that will happen on Thursday. CANT WAIT!!
Tomorrow is an off day so I will be just chillen, resting, and doing school work all damn day.

Squatted today on the least amount of painkillers in the past month and a half. I can still feel it, but its not as harsh. Feels very sore, most likely from monday, but it is what it is. Going to ice alot tonight, and take some more anti-inflammatorys.
Tomorrow is MAX bench, can't ****ing wait. Will hopefully report back with a nice PR!

AWWW YEAHHHHHHHH guys, HUGE PR. Felt awesome. I used 300 for the max on this cycle, so that would net a 35 lb gain, but my previous max before I got injured and lifted was 315. So excited about this PR, I am going to start another cycle on monday! Can't wait, and will use same max.
Tomorrow will be lighter squats, then resting all weekend and watching the Rashad vs. Jones fight!!
