I see your point but it's just hard for me to recognize that then not put him above Dorian also. I'd have to ask Jay fans but I think him and Dorian have very similar physiques. I've never really liked it but Dorian was able to do a lot with it

What is this even judged on? their physique overall? their physique in relation to competitors of that era?

the list is a mess and any one of numbers 2-10 could be interchanged easily

the only certain on that list is ronnie at #1

Cutler and Arnold should be in the top five, and Dorian Yates looks disgustingly veiny in that pic, lol.

i think nasser, levrone and flex are fantastic bodybuilders, but not enough to be top ten all time.

ray, imho, while never having won is the ONLY one arguably deserving to be on here. his ONLY flaw was his height.

sergio and arnold can be here for how they were in their respective times, but then if that is the case haney should be higher (as he raped everyone for nearly a decade) and phil for bringing arguably the best fullness/shape/condition-package the O stage has ever seen.

oh well, not a bad list in any sense, this sport is just so subjective.

I don't think dexter should be on the list

Everyone on the list would beat dexter

With exception Haney, Arnold , Sergio

And Phil hasn't wont enough can't be based on one Olympia win

Cause levrone has never places out of top 5 in any show

Cutlet won olympiad but still levrone an flex would run him into the ground

In a decade or so people will talk about and revere dexter like they do Ray but more. Jay will fade away but will still be respected for what he forced an aesthetically unpleasing body to achieve

Bodybuilding isn't a team sport. No O means they weren't even the best of their era at any point... other than a few who were a fairly consistent top 3 throughout their careers you gotta go with Olympians for the most part. Honey beat everyone in the 80s and retired before 35... much better career than say flex or Kevin and even dorian who had a few controversial wins and lost to haney for haneys last win... jay won the Olympia multiple times and pushed ronnie harder than Kevin or flex did..

    Anyway my list
    10. Shawn ray
    9. flex wheeler
    8. Kevin levrone
    7.Dexter Jackson
    6.Sergio Oliva
    5.Jay Cutler
    4.Dorian Yates
    3.Arnold Schwartzenegger
    2. Lee Haney
    1.Ronnie Coleman

Don't underestimate Dex or jay. Jay in 2001 proved he could take anyone in the 90s rat pack.. he has a bigger frame and better legs and similar.conditioning. Even 99 ronnie was a bit big for.flex and Kevin.to handle.. Jay fared a lot better even after ronnie packed another 40lbs on himself.. Jay is like Dorian with better legs with less conditioning. Still enough to overpower those two.

Dex won the ac multiple times and the O. I think a park Dex could hold his own. He would have better conditioning than flex or Kevin. More complete physique to boot.. flex used synthol anf Kevin has no bdb to speak of.... combine that with a sandow and I gotta. Him the nod... Dex was consistent progression over his career not his fault they all gave when he hit his stride. Oliva would be higher on my list but he is just to.early. in the history of bbing.. best of the forerunners tho.. hr quit too early. Had he battled Arnie longer id put him.over cutler

i dnot see why lee haney would be number 2?

the 80's olympia's were rather weak

    90's had much stiffer compeition

jay never brought anywhere near the conditioning of the 90s

kevin levrone i put him 2nd because he was done what 80 something shows?(might be wrong)

but never placed out of top 5

Why is it ok for people to list Arnold b/c he dominated his era but not Haney? I don't think Jay should ever be in the top 5, at least not yet. I'm ok with Dorian/Arnold @ 5.

Then our only disagreement is a very minor one, which could go either way--Flex/Dorian. I know Flex did some questionable stuff but damn he was a beast.
