Today I did:
Power C&J: 3x110lbs; 3x132lbs; 3x154lbs; 3x176lbs; 1x198lbs; 0x220lbs
Push Press: 5x110lbs; 5x121lbs; 5x132lbs
Weighted Dips: 3x8x33lbs
Weighted Incline Sit-Ups: 3x5x22lbs
I did clean and jerk until 176lbs, from that point on I only power cleaned, my jerk sucks.. will have to start working shoulders more explosively. Push press felt easy, could pull off 5 reps with 1 plate easily, which is good. Dips were easy too, I went light on them today because my front delt wasn't completely healed yet. Those weighted sit-ups were pretty heavy lol, expecting doms in abs tomorrow.

Today I did:
Double Overhand Sumo Deadlift: 3x3x308lbs
Pendlay Rows: 3x10x110lbs
Weighted Narrow V-Grip Chinups: 1x5x66lbs; 1x4x66lbs; 1x3x66lbs
Barbell Curls: 1x5x88lbs; 1x4x88lbs; 1x3x88lbs
Dumbbell Side Bends: 3x5x90lbs
Sumo deadlift feels a thousand times better than conventional deadlift, I can even double overhand easily with sumo. Weird thing with my deadlift is, that getting the weight off the ground is the hardest part for me (which is why I continuously fail at attempting 352lbs pull), but the second part, locking it out, is easy. Did pendlay rows this time, very light weight, practically flew in my hands, I will start doing pendlay rows instead of bodybuilding style rows. The entire next week my gym will be closed because of some Wu-Shu tournament, so instead I will do 10 sets of pushups and pullups each day for the whole week, will be fun (not srs).

Gym closed for this? Ewww
Are you going to stick with sumo dead lift? I think sumo deadlift offer a good method on the start. Ballestic start or something like that. The start is more explosive, and since the back is almost vertical, the form doesnt break down. On a conventionnal DL, you cant really do that.
What is the difference between pendlay and BB style rows? Is it that pendlay rows start and finish on the floor?☆ ☆ QUEBEC CREW ☆ ☆

Since I can't go to the gym for like 5 days, I have put together a little project I named 'Project Gorilla' (oh big bang theory). It's a upper body push/pull routine with only 2 exercises total. Today is push day and my goal is to reach exactly 200 wide grip pushups on my Iron Gym pullup bar, my brother is also doing the same thing but his goal is to reach 100 wide grip pushups, we will do this for 5 days until the gym opens, atleast we're doing something right?
Right now me and my bro and in the process of doing the pushups, I will post the results when we're done. I'm writing down how much pushups we do in each set, while trying to complete our goal in minimum number of sets (thus going to failure in each set).

Haha I took longer breaks, I obviously deserved it!
Yeah, tomorrow are wide grip pullups - he's goal: 25, mine: 80. My wide grip pullup max is ~20 I guess (I've done 25 some time in the past, weren't 100% strict ones though) and his is 5 lol. I can return to gym on saturday, oh god can't wait.Last edited by Ensix; 03-28-2012 at 02:36 AM.

Np, as my sig promises anyway, posters get repped.
Today me and my lil bro (12yo) competed in wide grip pullups (little leg help was allowed). My total goal was 80 pullups and his 30* pullups (actually his was 20 before, but he maxed out 7 on first set so I changed it).
This is how it went:
Bro's 1st set - 7
My 1st set - 20
Bro's 2nd set - 7
My 2nd set - 20
Bro's 3rd set - 6
My 3rd set - 20
Bro's 4th set - 4
My 4th set - 20
Bro's 5th set - 6
I won! Luckily, he still sucks at pullups, won't be long till he catches up though.Last edited by Ensix; 03-28-2012 at 02:36 AM.

Still couldn't go to the gym today, things weren't in place because of the Wu-Shu stuff, they said they'll move stuff back by tomorrow, well I hope so, because I'm going again tomorrow. Anyway, for fun, I decided to count my calories intake today, and it was ~3500kcal, and I thought that like to get in over 3000kcal you gotta eat hella lot, guess not.

Hahaha, the calories thing is realy subjective IMO. Some skinny kids really struggle to get 3000calories in...for some others, just eating when "they feel they should" lead them to caloric surplus. Ectomorph and endomorph is really more an eating habit instead of a genetics thing IMO.
Good for you if you can eat big without problem!!☆ ☆ QUEBEC CREW ☆ ☆

Today I did:
Bench Press: 1x242lbs; 3x5x198lbs
Full Squat: 3x10x176lbs
Dips: 3x15
Seated Behind Neck Press: 3x5x88lbs
Skull Crushers: 3x10x55lbs
Benched 110kg, I was suppose to bench it yesterday but couldn't access the gym as you guys have read above. Bench was hella stong today, probably from all the rest I had this week lolol. It still slightly hurts when I squat, so I decided to deload to 176lbs and do 3x10, it was REALLY exhausting. I'm also going to start building up weight on dips, neck press and skull crushers too, so the weight you see above is not even near my limits.
