The reason why I don't lurk the deep anymore is because I saw enough sh!t to make me feel physically sick and I had a weird feeling come over me. The kind you get when you see one too many gore videos and your mind just re-runs the images through your head.

For me, it wasn't so much the videos that got to me or scared me (although they obviously impacted)... it was the actually community operating it.

Back when I was checking it out, I wasn't even thinking about being traced (may have been stupid)... I am still alive, I am not in jail - I did proxy myself up as that's what I always did.

You can search a how to guide for yourself. If you really want to see it that bad. I guarantee most people commenting haven't even used Tor or visited any .onion site.

I will admit that it's not ALL bad. Selling drugs, firearms etc... Tor is just used as a mostly untraceable way to do this. But imagine theync live, with the people making, purchasing and trading these videos for other videos, bitcoin or other services.

EDIT: Also, imagine the videos being (mostly) a lot worse than what you would expect to see on thatsphucked or theync or any other commercial gore site.
