What is the point of doing these in weightlifting. I saw klokov doing one and it didn't seem like it was for conditioning.
    best lifts
    Squat 410
    bench 315
    press 185x5
    Deadlift 420
    clean 275

I'd say it depends on what complex it is. Something like a clean pull and hang clean would help reinforce the technique of the second pull, but the "shankle complex" is the equivalent to 20 rep squatting with olympic lifts.

But then again, I never really used them so my opinion doesn't mean jack.
    Gym lifts (PB): C&J: 132.5k, Snatch: 107.5k (p)Jerk: 138k, Clean: 137k Front Squat: 153
    Deadlift: 455, Squat: 380(oly) 360 (pl), Bench: 245, CPUs: 9001
    Comp Total: 237k

sometimes i do a clean pull into hang clean into front squat into jerk
i use this sparingly, but i do it to tire myself out for the jerk so my technique must be perfect, while also re-inforcing technique on cleans

I think going to a max on complexes can be a great way to make progress.

i do that too especially since my jerk sucks. i do a power clean + 2 front squats + jerk and a clean + hang clean and jerk. both of these keep my time under tension higher so i can work on my endurance and still perform a clean jerk. its helped since youre so tired by the jerk so youve gotta find the perfect positions to get into to make sure you make the lift.
