What is the best food to eat before bed?

If you end up staying up late, and you've already had what was supposed to be your last meal, but your really starving, what is the best food that you can eat a few hours/hour before sleep?

I eat cottage cheese on crackers that are made of complex carbs (wheat) and have a lot of fiber. I eat 3-4, just need them as a base for the cottage. I don't like eating cottage straight from the container.

Eating before bed is a good thing when building muscle is a goal. Fasting for 8 hours is a lot of time. If your last meal was 3 hours before bed that’s a 11 hour fast. That’s not a good thing.

A Protein and fat meal is what you want. Fats preferably from EFAs. Stay away from carbs. Carbohydrate burning slows to a crawl during that time and will most likely just add fat (BF).

Low fat (not nonfat [more sugar]) cottage cheese
    Cottage cheese + flax oil
Cottage cheese + peanut butter (or almond, cashew, etc…)
Casein protein powder (or a blend) + flax oil
Casein protein powder (or a blend) + peanut butter (or almond, cashew, etc…)
    Tuna, Salmon, etc…

I have been using the protein customizer nighttime blend with flax oil, one tsp of MSM and sometimes 1 tsp of Glutamine (it has some already).

In the morning I’m only slightly hungry and I haven’t seen any additional fat gain (some loss) since I started using this combo.
It's better to be cynical than naive.

I wish I liked cottage cheese. I dont like the texture of how it feels or the taste. I even tried putting it in a blender and mixing fruit in with it, nothing worked.
