Hurt Back caused Groin and Knee Pain?

Around 6 months ago I messed up my back deadlifting. I'm very involved in fitness and ever since I hurt my back i've had pain in my groin that runs down my inner thigh into my knee. The pain came on gradually and is usually only present while or after a run. Ive had X rays and been tested for a hernia and everything was fine. I'm joining the Marine Corp within the next year or two and really need to get this figured out. Thankyou.

Also i've heard some things about a rotated pelvis and the symptoms/causes seem to fit
    Just lookin for some feedback

Hmmmmm, I think a muscle ultrasound would be useful in this case as its pretty likely going to be a soft tissue problem. What type of pain is it? Sharp, burning etc? It could be neural but I'm not too sure on what type of back injury would send pain into the knee from the medial side of the thigh. If the sciatic nerve was impinged then it would be more likely behind the leg and not in the thigh. It could be an adductor muscle problem. What type of movement did you do to hurt your back? If you haven't been to a physio they might be the person to see.
