How should i take my BCAA (SciVation Xtend), my protein and my creatine?
Hi, it's been a month i'm taking my protein. Today i received my BCAA (SciVation Xtend) and Cellucor C4 Extreme (Creatine) but i'm kind of new taking these stuff. I would like to get bigger. normally i take a shake of protein in the morning and after my workout, but can i mix my protein with BCAA and creatine without having a bad effect? when should i take my BCAA(and how much a day) and creatine (and how much a day)?
Thank you for your help!

Why are you wanting to take whey and BCAAs? Whey contains BCAAs
3 week hardcore cut. Epic cardio, epic weights, don't care what it's from but weight must go!

take bcaa's every 3 hours in addition to whey and casin before bed. Also would add animal pak for micronutrients

For the extend I do half a scoop in between meals (I do 4 or 5 larger meals a day) and a full scoop which I sip during workout and drink the rest post (mostly all post), that's how you should take it. I do creatine mono daily post workout. Whey I just use to hit my protein numbers and for convinience. I'd worry about diet first before any supplements though.

Oh come on don't be so condescending like it's such a bad thing and my diet is so bad and deficient. It's not that bad if you break it down....
multivitamin- 2 pills
multimineral- 3 pills
vitamin D- 5 pills
garlic- 8 pills
NAC- 2 pills
Green Foods Pills- 12 Pills
Fish oil- 6 pills
So I'm taking roughly 38 pills a day unless I drink the green drink which brings it down. The green pills, NAC, Vitamin D, Fish Oil, and Garlic which are 33 out of the 38 pills have been an addition over the last 2 years in response to some bloodwork with elevated liver values, higher cholesterol and bp and low vitamin D. The results have been nothing shy of astonishing. I need 8-10,000 iu's of Vitamin D a day to stay in an optimal range.
I get my bloodwork done every 3 months and every supplement, in every dose was added in very pragmatic way, one by one, without changing other variables to test the results.
I get the the tone of your post but not all of us are just radomly grabbing vitamins and praying they do something. Everything has a very distinct purpose. I don't think I get get my liver values, blood pressure, or cholesterol high if I wanted to at this point.
this is what I ate yesterday at 11 weeks out from a contest I don't think it is too deficient
meal 1
3 eggs
8 egg whites
1 serving oats
1 small apple
meal 2
2 cups kale
1/2 container mushrooms
1/4 onion
6 ounces cooked chicken
2 serving olive oil
1 serving white rice
meal 3
7 ounces steak
bag of steamed brocolli
6 ounce sweet potatoe
meal 4
protein shake
2 scoops whey isolate
2 servings oats
1 serving almonds
meal 5
2 cups kale
1/2 container mushrooms
6 ounces cooked chicken
1/4 onion
1 serving olive oil
1 serving white rice
Meal 6
1 serving oats
1 serving mac nut oil
1.5 scoops whey protein isolate

Wow. That is more than many elderly people with medical conditions.

I have to agree that I am also astonished. Your diet does not seem like it would warrant such massive amounts of pills. While I would personally choose more variety in veggies, I assume that you listed an example and I bet you eat more than just kale, mushrooms and broccoli as veggies, but even if you didn't, it's not like your diet is glaringly void of typical micronutrients. Is your doctor suggesting you take all of those pills? Do you have some medical condition?

Really? I bought some and haven't yet taken it & I've just started bulking. I imagine it'd help, but is the number so small that it really is just mental masturbation?

For the op, you don't need to take the BCAA, taking them with whey protein is a waste of money. The only time they have been useful to me is while following leangains.com intermittent fasting I would take 10g before my workout.

He's 250 pounds. How many times a day would you have to eat to get that number of calories in without gastric discomfort? Let's try some thought regarding the entire situation before responding.
I am curious what the the hell these green food pills are.

It's not atypical for people like Flex500 with BMI's >39 to eat more than six times per day

Oh yea, that's what I meant . I do 3 + snacks and I'm just barely creeping towards 200. Anything over 200 and I would probably need at least 4 full.
