    Sean serk and frank trig had muscles. Lifting doesn't help you won fights, training to fight does. Being a better fighter.

    His plyometrics/gymnastics helps his explosiveness more than lifting

    He has also said before that he doesnt train conditioning because he thinks hev doesnt need to but we all know he trains conditioning. He really likes to troll about training and everyone should really know that he doesnt do it for bodybuilding due to the type of routine we all know he does.

    Yeah he does olympic lifting which is still weight lifting, and many plyometrics between other compound lifts that he does for low reps. Thats not bodybuilding.

    I really think GSP trolls about his training like this because he wants to be thought of as a great fighter and not just a great athlete.

    And gtfo with this bull**** that weight lifting is useless for fighting. Strength training might not be the end all be all of what makes a fighter great and yes fighting talent or skill will always eclipse who is stronger but that does not mean it is of no use. Both strength and power can be built with weight lifting and it shouldn't be ignored, especially by athletes who are very strength oriented in their fighting style.
