Thought I knew what metal was and always disliked it...heard Metallica perform the other night on TV...now I am a fan. Also like Godsmack.

Pantera was the band that got me into metal.
Something about Vinnie Paul, I just can't stand.
Great drummer, but just weird as hell; If you read Rex's book, it's exactly how I pictured him to be.
Plus, Hellyeah is god-awful."I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out."

Most likely too many albums to even try to list.
New Lord Mantis video. One of my favorites off their newest album. VIDEO IS NSFW
Edit: Took out link to Lord Mantis vid. I've been banned for much less. If you want to watch it just search "Lord Mantis Possession Prayer" on YouTube.
New Periphery. Better than the first turd they released from their new double album, but still a little meh.

the new Job for a cowboy album is killer. the bass tone is freaking amazing.
its amazing to see how much they have changed since doom. I personally love both deathcore and straight death metal. i will miss the comical breakdowns and stupid low gutturls but oh well, the new album is very exciting and sounds fantastic.

**** man, I wish to christ this band would just ditch Spencer already. Honestly, I want so bad to support this band. Instrumentally, they are killer, and their production is incredible. Spencer starts singing, or screaming, doesn't matter which, and everything goes downhill for me. Periphery 1 was released instrumentally, and I still love it. Periphery 2 had no instrumental release, and I just can't bring myself to enjoy it. Believe me, i've tried.
