This band was better when Urban Breed was on vocals. However their writing it still pretty legit for a PM band.

Speaking of Urban Breed....hes one of the best vocal talents in power metal, up there with Marco and Barlow...yet he can't stay in a decent band to save his life. What a waste.

Speaking of wastes, my favorite singer, Michael Kiske released Keeper of the Seven Keys part 1 and 2, then Kai left and Helloween went chit and wasted him on 2 albums before he quit. Then he went and did nothing for like 2 decades and is now in Unisonic which releases an album once every 3 years it seems. wtf man

Tis a shame he isn't a bigger metal fan, part of the reason why he did solo work for so long and is in Unisonic which is more hard rock, rather than Gamma Ray or something. Guy has an amazing voice for metal.


The one guy who sings in While Heaven Wept is also pretty good, yet no one knows of them. Lots of talented singers out there who don't get any recognition. Yet ****gy Bieber has a 100 mil for having almost no vocal range and absolutely no talent.

Check out their album Hope. Songs From the North is good as well but to me it drags a bit with the triple album format. Hope is strong start to finish.

Lol I wouldn't listen to Songs From the North all at once. It's literally 3 albums. Really solid music though, another band if you like their sound is Ghost Brigade. I actually got to them first before Swallow the Sun.

I personally enjoy Kreator and Sodom over the standard big 4 in American thrash metal. More consistent releases from their discography.

Have literally no money since no job for 6 months, but will sell my body on the street to get the $10-20 needed to see these kunts again. They're opening for Ne Obliviscaris who I haven't heard of before, but I am listening to their album Citadel right now and it is pretty good.

Their album Portal of I is actually better if you ask me. Both albums top notch though. See them live if you can.

Agreed, the new album is even better than Wreckage of Stars and I loved that album. I love the clean vocals on this thing. I need to see them live again. I wish their tour with NeO had a date near me.

I swear that there's a guest vocal appearance on Transmit to Disconnect but there's nothing in the credits. It sounds like Travis Ryan to be honest. Has anyone else heard the same thing?

Also, the new Revocation kicks ass too. Their last album bored me a bit, but this one hits the spot for whatever reason.
