Lets, see. boston has a big 3, kobe was winning when Gasol was playing well and he's at least a borderline all-star. The mavs have a complete team. those are the recent "winners". nobody can do it on their own, why do people expect Lebron to.
Lol, acting like Lebron hasn't had teams around him. There's no denying that dude habitually chokes under pressure, nothing great about that. Also you said he's the greatest player of this era, not currently.

Yes, era/ currently, subtle distinction. His era is from 03' until now. whos better in your opinion?

also, please tell me what teams has he had? He had NO SUPPORT on those cavs teams, absolutuely none, and he STILL got them to the best record in the nba numerous times and even to the finals. Thats absurd. Remember what happened when kobe lost shaq? they SUCKED, didnt even make the playoffs some years and your so called "winner" wanted to leave LA rumor had it. He did the best he could in cleveland, and they never made any moves to help him out.

yes, Lebron has "choked", but damn he cant come through everytime, when he has no help. Keep in mind, Jordan didnt start winning titles until around the age Lebron is at now. half of jordans titles came after age 35. Lebron has time.

    There's some truth here.

Kobe's Laker teams were almost ALWAYS very good. The 2 years that they weren't.... no playoffs and 1st round loss.

MJ's Bulls never went anywhere until Pippen, Grant and Jackson came aboard. And then when MJ retired the Bulls still won 55 games and went to the EC finals.

I think that people either forget or simply disregard these things....

I'm not saying that Kobe and MJ weren't amazing... because they were.... but it should be obvious to everyone that they had teams that were WAY better than what Lebron had on the Cavs... and THAT's why they won a bunch of titles.

We'll see how Lebron does NOW. THESE coming years are the ones that we should judge him on.

Jordan retired for the second time at 35. 0 titles came on the Wizards.

Way off bro... He won his last title at age 35 i think...

As far as Lebron Jordan comparisons Lebron blew it by leaving the Cavs. MJ stayed with the Bulls and like he said he would never have left to play with other superstars. He wanted to beat those guys not play with them. That's how much of a competitor he was.

Best record in the league multiple times yet no help. Honestly? The biggest setback in Cleveland was coaching, Mike Brown is a bum.

LeBron also started out of high school where Jordan didn't. Age doesn't matter as much as miles, and LeBron has a lotta miles on his body already. He'll get his ring(s), probably this year, unless some miracle happens.

And to answer the OP: Yes, and quite a few people who are greats are seen as arrogant.

LOL... ok. EC semis then. Whatever. They still won 55 games and Pippen showcased his true talent.

Don't get mad because someone raises a valid point that goes against your beliefs.

Contrary to most of the kids here I actually WATCHED these games.... no youtube or google needed... which is why I might be a bit foggy on a few details.

What I'm saying is your point is irrelevant when he's had more experience in the league and still hasn't won sh!t. 8th year in the league with a top 3 player in dwade, an all-star in bosh, and your supposedly the best in the game and you're nowhere to be found in the finals. Aging won't take the b!tch out of lebron's heart.

    Age = moot point

that has nothing to do with my argument. competitor, sure, u can argue that joining miami is kind of "giving up". doesnt mean he's any worse of a player.

okay sure, even ignoring age, look at the situation. Lebron had no team for his entire career until now. the one year he has a team, finals almost won it. You cant blame him for not winning with the cavs, not even jordan would have so stfu.

As far as Lebron Jordan comparisons Lebron blew it by leaving the Cavs. MJ stayed with the Bulls and like he said he would never have left to play with other superstars. He wanted to beat those guys not play with them. That's how much of a competitor he was.
MJ retired in '98 at the age of 38. In 2000 when he was on the Cavs, he was 40.

MJ 3-peated when most players are retiring

Thing is IMO Jordan and Lebron's arrogance come from two different places.

Jordan- I hate you, I want you to die first, but I'll eat your children in front of you if I have to.

Lebron- I'm a ***got attention whore who wants everybody to love me so I do cocky **** to make you think I'm cool and not all awkward.

They still won 55 games because they had the same cast from the year before minus Jordan. There won't be that much of a dropoff, but Jordan was why they won championships and were not pretenders like lebron and the cavs.

It's like the patriots going 18-1 and then clowns saying "See, brady isn't that good matt cassell won 11 games", ignoring how the same cast that won 18 games including the coach were still there. Good record, slight dropoff, but no Super Bowl appearance without the gawd.

Your points can't be valid when they're invalid and non-existent.

Ok so fukk the cavs and fukk you. He still lost in his 8th year with an all-star cast which jordan never did.

LOL... you just confirmed my "invalid, non-existent points".

Jordan's Bulls were a quality team... even without him.

Lebron's Cavs were a lottery team without him.

Not hard to see why MJ won all those titles and Lebron "only" made the finals.

1993 Bulls is widely considered a top 5 team ever. 1994 Bulls without Jordan lost in Eastern Conf. semi-finals. The year Lebron went to finals the eastern Conf. was a joke.

    Kobe, Duncan, Shaq.

Lets take a look at 2009 Cavs, before Lechoke b*tched out and went to Miami. He had, Jamison, Shaq, Mo Will, Delonte West, Hickson, Verajo, Big Z, Parker, Booby Gibson (shooting lights out). That team was stacked.
It always makes me laugh when people bring up him making it to the Finals with the Cavs, like it's some great achievement. Check the history of the Finals and some of the Eastern Conference teams that have made it through, Iverson did it with one of the worst teams ever assembled. Do it in a stacked Western Conference and I'd be impressed.
The Lakers missed the playoffs once when Shaq left and Rudy T was the coach, then Kobe took them to the playoffs every year after that. You want to talk about no help? check the rosters he was dealing with, he had to average nearly 36 one year just for them to be competitive.
Don't try and compare Lebron with Jordan, Kobe or any other true great, it's insulting.

Typical.... lol.... dude gets mad and starts slinging personal attacks because he can't stand the fact that he's wrong.

Just because I can look at the situations objectively doesn't mean that I hate Jordan. He was a great player. One of the best ever.

I just don't base my opinions on NIKE and Gatorade commercials.

BTW, I've been watching ball for almost 20 years now. How about you?

I think that people either forget or simply disregard these things....

I'm not saying that Kobe and MJ weren't amazing... because they were.... but it should be obvious to everyone that they had teams that were WAY better than what Lebron had on the Cavs... and THAT's why they won a bunch of titles.

We'll see how Lebron does NOW. THESE coming years are the ones that we should judge him on.
This is the team Kobe led to the playoffs after Shaq left.

Sasha Vujacic - 1 yr pro
    Von Wafer - Rookie
Smush Parker - 2 yrs pro
    Devin Green - Rookie
    Aaron Mckie- 11 yrs pro
Jim Jackson - 14 yrs pro
Laron Profit - 3 yrs pro
Luke Walton - 2 yrs pro
Devean George - 6 years pro
Lamar Odom - 6 years pro
Brian Cook - 2 years pro
Stanislav Medvedenko - 5 yrs pro
    Ronny Turiaf* - Rookie
Chris Mihm - 5 yrs pro
    Andrew Bynum - Rookie

Only one starting quality player, the rest where margin/role players and rookies. Take Kobe off that team and they'd struggle to win 10 games. Also he did it in a stacked Western Conference, not a weak ass watered down Eastern Conference with a soft schedule.

Also Kobe took a guy who hadn't won a single career playoff game in Gasol and won two Championships with him. Don't ever try compare Lebron to him.
