    MusclePharm Assault and Creatine

    What's the difference between Creatine Monohydrate and MP Assault? I'm taking Assault which has 5g of creatine in it, so I don't have to take a mono? Would it make sense to take a monohydrate on my days off from the gym, instead of the pre-workout Assault?

    On your days off there is no real need to take Creatine monohydrate because you need to stimulate your muscles via exercise to receive the benefit from taking it. Assault offers 5 g of Creatine (both Creapure (creatine mono) and Con-cret Creatine HCL which provided you with plenty of creatine for your post workout. If you have the mono, i'd suggest taking it in your post workout after you lift to replenish your creatine levels, this way you're getting 5g before and 5g after.

    You mean the difference between the creatine in Assault and creatine mono? 5g a day will keep you saturated espcially if your diet contains a lot of meat. You don't need to take creatine on your off days unless you take more than 2 days off a week.

    but i'd hope you meant this, OP. Your join date is 2006 and if you don't know the diff between assault and creating mono by now you should stop taking supplements. If you messed up wording and meant the creating IN assault vs creatine mono, then to answer your question, dont take it on days off, and you only need assault on days at the gym. I personally was taking assault pre workout and then cellmass after my workout because i got it for free so figured id try it, and i didnt notice much difference.
