i've done them in the past, but not so much anymore. not a bad exercise, just a bit awkward feeling until you get used to it

I do them regularly, since due to shoulder problems I have a hard time holding a barbell behind my neck.

Never tried these hmm next Tuesday here we go. Do you alternate the front foot or do they feel even each set?

alternate front foot each set IMO.
also it's very similar to a split squat. it's a good secondary exercise to do after your main squat.
i like it because unlike leg press you don't have to load of tons and tons of weight

Thanks will def give them a go. Could be good to chuck in mid/end of a leg session.

Probably the best ham/glute exercise you can do. Way better then back squats. It's my personal favorite exercise for the glutes.

I don't think it can top barbell hip thrusts for glutes.

THE GIFT 2012
I've been doing them since I saw Kai do them in his training series video. They definitely fry my glutes/hams, I like the fact that you don't need to load up a lot of weight to really feel this exercise.

ive tried them after seeing the video of kai doing them, but i forgot to switch position of legs each set, but it still hurt like a b*tch the next day
