So I started lifting 3 months ago, and I was 160lbs..say at 16% body fat..now I'm 185 lbs at I'm guessing around 20-22% body fat..there's been some muscle gains (mostly noob), and some fat gain. I feel disgusted when I look in the mirror, and I'm always walking around with a huge gut/ass (that's where most of my fat goes into). My daily macros have been 3,000 calories, 180 grams of protein, 300+'ish of carbs and 90+'ish of fat. What should my calorie intake be now and how low should I put my carbs down to and how high should my proteins go to? Should I do a slow cut or a fast one? Will I lose any lean body mass??
Should I also stick to starting strength/compound excersises on my cut or switch it up abit?
Last question..do you think I'm making the right decision of cutting this early into my bb'ing career?
All input would be appreciated..thank you.

I am not wise but here are my ideas.
find you TEE and go 500 calories below that is a ok baseline.
As for when to cut. I heard the idea to bulk until your clothes don't fit, and cut until your have need quite a few holes in your belt. I like that idea.
Normally when you cut you add in more cardio. not 100% needed but it is a good idea and good for you.
I would cut your carbs when cutting. keep your protien high enough so you can gain a little muscle and prevnet muscle loss while you strip that fat off.
