    Hard work pays off!

I had my first football practice of the year last night. After 9 months of lifting, running, sprints uphill and basically busting my ass I finally had a chance to measure myself. I ran neck and neck with the two fastest guys on the team. May not sound like much but they are very athletic and in their early twenties. Since I'm 37 yrs old I was very pleased with my performance. I just keep thinking that all those sprints in the snow and rain, the days of lifting when I felt like puking were all worth it. So don't let the excuses win just keep working hard no matter what. Because when you the chance to test your self you'll be glad you did.
