Well a heart attack would be on your left side, up to the shoulder and even neck, so it's not that. It could be you slept in an awkward position and your ribs/sternum is sore.

    It's gas.
i know it sounds gross but...

when gas accumulates in your intestines it puts pressure on your diaphragm, which in turn puts pressure on your lungs/torso organs which makes it feel sore.

try not eating dairy products before bed, or high-fiber stuff

    We won't help you.

Go see a real doctor, tell him what's happening. The chances of blocked arteries that disrupt supply of blood to your heart at 17 are pretty low. There could be some actual problems with the heart. Echocardiogram would show if that is the case.

Also keep in mind that chest pains can be caused by a lot of other things like gas, overeating, smoking, indigestion and so on.

Most important thing I would recommend is to stay cool and not to panic.

either these or you are sleeping in a tight position. all 3 of these happaned to me.

sleep on your back and try to relax. i used to sleep on my side and my chest would be in an unnatural position all night and i would wake up with my entire chest sore

    Not anymore.

While I was on clen I had severe pain in my left side of chest. Had to stop using it. The pain got more intense when I tried deep breathing and when I tried to lay down/ get up from my bed. Shid was not cash.

Sounds like Costochodritis. I had the same problem when I was 21. It started in the gym, doing pullovers. Had a sharp shooting pain through my chest to the point that it hurt to breathe with my ribs expanding. I would wake up through the night / in the morning to EXTREME chest pains that were debilitating. Ended up going to the ER and getting meds.

"Costochondritis (kos-toe-KHON-dri-tis) is an inflammation of the cartilage that connects a rib to the breastbone (sternum). It causes sharp pain in the costosternal joint — where your ribs and breastbone are joined by rubbery cartilage. Pain caused by costochondritis may mimic that of a heart attack or other heart conditions."

Not sure...I know I waited WAY too long to seek medical help. Once I started taking some meds (I think it may have just been some antibiotics or something basic) it was gone fairly quickly. I put up with it for months before. Tried to go to Solantic, they said I had to go to the hospital because of it being chest pains...

Edit: And yeah, I could see it easily throwing someone into a panic attack. Hard to breathe + Horrible Pain = Panic!!!
