How can I lift with Fractured thumb with cast halfway up arm

I fractured my thumb in lacrosse practice last week and have a cast 4 in below my elbow, my 4 fingers I can move though but not my wrist. How can I lift upper body like chest, arms, shoulder and back without injuring myself or restriction of movement?

You are probably out of luck for any upper body execises. Once the thumb is immobolized you shouldn't be putting any stress on it. Work the legs until it fully heals and the doctor gives you an okay on everything else. I've broken my left thumb 3X playing baseball and basketball and the orthopedic surgeon said they'd be pinning it next time I broke it.
