Hey everyone! So my friend is looking to get bigger and finally break away from his skinny body. When I say skinny... I mean skinny... He's about 6'2, could be 6'3, and about 145 pounds. I want to start him off right. I told him I'd get him a program for a beginner and that would give him a good base. Would Babylovers SS be good for him???
Thanks for your help guys!

Why not have him start with the basic SS routine.. do a few weeks see how he reacts/how he feels about it and make a plan from there..? The basic program alone might be enough as it is, if you're thinking otherwise & therefore choosing Babylovers version.. I don't really know though, I'm new to all this & only just started SS myself. Tbh I'm finding it enough as it is i.e 5 lifts 3 days a week.. you can always add dips/chins for additional work which is what I plan do a few weeks in.

I'm doing the original version of SS and it's just fine, there's not reason to do any modified versions of the the program. As long as he's eating and resting properly then he'll make good gains on the program. If he's never lifted before then have him get the book for the program as well so he can at least learn proper form on the lifts.
