If you like doing it why not? You have to realize that you're going to have to eat more than most guys would though.

You could even lift 4 or 5 or even 6 days a week if you wanted to and still swim. I'm currently bulking and do cardio, actually going to try and get back into running. Mainly because it feels good and cardio is just good for overall health all around. As mentioned, just eat enough to support what your goals are, whether that's too lose weight or gain weight.
    - Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

As long as you keep your nutrition on point for individual goals, and get enough rest to facilitate recovery, then you'll be fine. Your heart and lungs will definitely thank you for the swimming.

you could get lean or build muscle doing this, depending on your calorie intake. just don't try and do both at once.
