After trying to just heal on my own for 2 months (felt like it would get on the track to better, then some simple movement would make it worse again) finally went to the MD yesterday and was diagnosed with De Quervain's after an X Ray. I got treated with a deeeeeep and painful cortisone injection. Today, I'm 95% better. I can't believe how much better and how quickly. He said I can start lifting again in 5 days. I'm sad I put this off for so long. Go see a doctor.

One of my buddies had DQT and had to get it surgically released after the steroid injection didn't really help.

Took him about a month to get back to 100% iirc.
