Recon's got a bunch of stuff in it besides amino acids, including carbs and such, whereas the aforementioned are more stand-alone amino sources. Ultimately boils down to personal preference.

N'Gage is the only one I've tried out of that lot though.

I think some people on here arent being 100% objective pushing their own products lol.

Anyhow, I have used the scivation xtend and its ok.

I will say this though. I have drank just straight BCAA by itself and it tastes bitter and like crap, BUT within 10 minutes I became noticebaly more vascular so I know that worked or was doing something, which I NEVER got from the Scivation product.

I just recently switched to BSN aminoX and guess what? Same vasuclar affect from that as the straight BCAA.

I have never used the other BCAA products being pushed on here, so I cant comment one way or the other and can only go on personal experience.

The BSN tastes decent, but does have somewhat of a bitter taste, which is good because if your BCAA product doesnt have a bitter taste, the BCAA content probably isnt very good.

bulk bcaa with glutamine and vitamin c for 11.99 or less at many online retailers. stuff tastes like shiat, so you get those single serving sugar free lemonade packets. bulk bcaa doesn't mix well, so here's what you do - put 16 oz hot water in a shaker cup, add one scoop bcaa and one packet of the lemonade. shake the crap out of it and put it in the fridge/freezer depending on how much time you have before you hit the gym. when it cools off, you've got a pretty good tasting bcaa drink for half the cost of these other "name brand" powders...

Look into Intrabolic too OP if you want something intra-workout. BCAA formula but it also contains antioxidants and beta-alanine. Highly suggested.

Tried a few, but i always went back to Purple Wraath. Mix it with some gatorade powder for Superman mode.

I have been taking Modern BCAA by USP Labs for about 2 months now. 2 scoops and I drink it during my workout. Looking to try something different and just seeing if anyone has any suggestions???? Thanks in advance.

Stretchdoeswork, I'm curous...what did you think of Modern BCAA? Flavor, mixability, etc.?

If you liked it, we just released Modern BCAA+ which has some added beneficial aminos and 15 grams total aminos per scoop rather than 10. You may want to look into it. I haven't tried it myself just yet but I can't wait to get a hold of watermelon flavor!
