    Best pre workout supplement

Can anyone recommend a good pre workout supplement. Have a lot of study to do and will need a boost for my strength training. I have had problems in the past with anxiety so I would have a concern about taking very strong stimulants.

Pre workouts are stimulants but I can tell you that I started taking jack3d recently and it helped me have great workouts so far. I don't even drink caffeine regularly and this stuff didnt make me to gittery or anything. Just a little tingle.

Some good options that are *low* stimmed: White Flood, PreSurge Unleashed, or SuperPump Max

Otherwise you can look into a good stim-free pre such as: Ultima or Body Octane

Thanks for the love man. I personally like 1 scoop Fierce+ .5 scoop Focus XT. I'm a heavier stim person, so I like higher amounts of caffeine.

Maximize V.2, ErgoPump V.1, SAN Fierce, SAN Launch 4350 are some of my other favorites also...

    Non-stim:
    Clout
    Hemavol

    Low stimmed pre.....hmmmm

Seriously though it can be majority of them...just go "half" a serving or something perhaps half scoop of Maximize

Based on my experience, a GOOD full serving of low stim pre would be: Focus XT, SPMax, and White Flood (just 1 scoop)

Ultima and Hemavol are often mentioned as a non-stimmed choice...

Hope you find what you are looking for OP

Take some Jack3d crystals and smoke them, then do a line of some Craze, and dont forget to inject C4-Extreme directly into ur pen*s....that my friends is the ultimate pre-workout ^.^
I have not posted for last 2yrs (July 2010-February 2012). I was tired of being like 90% of all the people that post out of opinions rather than facts. Since that time I have increased my knowledge through research, and I corrected my ego. All my responses may not be 100% accurate, but I can promise you that what I say is not bias and is for your well being above anything else. Rep me if my post helps, not for boosted credibility (that half of people on this site do not deserve).

No love for SAN Fierce? Sons, I am disappoint.

I believe that Fierce is one of the best in category for a moderately stimmed pre. Very underrated focus blend that does include caffeine, but no other side effect-ridden stimulants like DMAA, etc.

What stands out about Fierce is unmatched pumps, great endurance, and as I said before a very good focus/energy blend. The thing people always forget about is that every serving of Fierce contains a full serving of creatine. Due to this and other ingredients, you will never have to go over one scoop like you do with so many other pre's. This is important since you want to keep those stimulants low.

I have a few reviews saved if you want to check it out, OP. I know that I'm a biased rep so I implore you to check out the opinions of others.

If you're still interested, PM me, allieninja, or poison and we can hook you up with some samples and other goodies.

Hit up the Controlled Labs website for their free sample pack too, so you can try their stuff out. It's always good to try out different products. I think you can call Gaspari for samples of MAX as well. If all else fails and you want to cut stimulants out completely, try iForce Hemavol (not sold on bb.com).

Fierce and craze are my 2 that get most play, but just tried BioPulse Madness and I was really suprised....it was honestly one of my best experiences with a pwo....the energy and focus didn't really smack u like craze and wasn't as intense. But it just kinda eased into a zone ulike many I've tried where u kinda feel it "kicking in"...I just turned some music on, stretched and next thing u know I'm hittin PR on squats (365x7) and just calmly moved onto next excercise...only negative I had is it tasted like licking a corroded 9volt battery and turned my tongue numb.....I pray for a different flavor, and its not a concentrate so its not like just shootin it down, but it got job done and will get a tub and hope I can get used to taste

I like Fierce, white flood, sp max, craze, and madness as stim based options, but you may not like the stims. Stim free, I like hemavol.

If you can handle some stims and want something to add to the studying you mentioned, focus xt is great. There's a stim free version in the works that will hopefully release before the end of ze world.

Cellucor C-4 Extreme is excellent. Like others have said, it doesn't make you jittery, but it does give you the energy for those extra pumps.
Never give up on your dreams, keep pressing forward, and you will achieve your goals.

Some great recommendations in here, here's my usual recommendations:

    - Hi-Lo stims: RagNOrok-Ultra, PSU*, Body Octane GD, Fierce, C4, White Flood, or Vengeance*
    - Stim-free: Ultima, Clout, RagNOrok-Ultra, Pump-bol, Body Octane HV, Hemavol, or White Blood

The underlined already contain creatine, and the italicized contain beta alanine. The asterisks mark undisclosed amounts.

I know caffeine and nitric oxide are popular for pre-workouts... but does anyone have any experience with brain boosters pre-workout?
Such as: huperzine, alpha gpc, acetyl-l-carnitine, etc.

Lots of people around here do, and each of those compounds you listed are solid. Focus XT contains both ALCAR, and hup A, along with choline bitartrate as the choline source, tyrosine, DMAE, and vinpocetine.
