    6 Month Reassessment questions

    About 6 months ago I realized I had a serious underating/overexercising problem, and decided to raise my calories from ~1800 a day to ~2600 a day slowly (while exercising less and lifting more)

    -So far in 6 months I've gone from 5'10 150 lbs to 160lbs.
    -I am currently eating 2600 per day, lifting 3 days a week and can't really make strength gains (my maintenance without activity is 2100/day)
    -I'd like to start sprinting because I'd like to run faster when I play soccer, however I am afraid of overdoing it like I did last year, leaving myself in a lethargic state.

    My main question:
    If I were to plan on sprinting 2-3x a week, on top of the lifting I do 3x a week, How much of a calorie increase would you recommend? I want to get stronger/faster without getting fatter.

    My BMR formula results are the following;
    Act Factor/Cals
    1.2/2163
    1.375/2479
    1.55/2794
    1.725/3110

    Thanks!

    If you're not gaining on 2600, AND adding sprinting, i'd up cals 250-500 daily, as a start.

    Well I have gained about 10 lbs, but I dont know how much muscle was actually put on. My family used to say I was sickly looking since I lost too much weight, but now they say I am healthy again. I dont want to go down the same road and hurt myself further, but I also dont want to overdo it with cals and start looking fat again.
