There is no perfect post-workout food. There are many options that will be just fine. Glad to see that you are not freaked out about the 36 grams of fat post-workout. Would you be eating the whole thing?

Although pizza contains beneficial nutrients for exercise recovery, it is often high in unhealthy saturated fat. Pizza toppings like cheese, bacon, hamburger, pepperoni and sausage are all high in saturated fat. According to the book "Nutrition" by Paul Insel et al., athletes should limit their daily saturated fat intake to 10 percent of their total calorie intake. One cheese personal pan pizza from a pizza restaurant may contain around 250 calories, which is over 10 percent for those on a 2,000-calorie diet.

The only reason I stay away from frozen pizza is that they don't taste that great. I'd rather buy a pizza from a good pizzeria and if I really want to add the grilled chicken to it to make the macros better. Those macros look pretty good.

"only" 12 grams of sat fat.....
Keep in mind, you may be hungry soon after that slice too.

Even if you want to follow the recommendations on nutrition labels of 20 grams of saturated fat per 2,000 calories, he's right in line with that ratio with his pizza. Even a bit better, as he's getting four extra calories free of saturated fat!

My biggest qualm with frozen pizza is the sodium level. I can easily eat an entire frozen pizza and stay within my calories, but for something like Digiorno, the sodium for the entire pizza is 3950mg. Also, the taste is meh...
