Spoke: there are a lot of posters all the time on here who make lamenting posts about their arms being stuck at 14/15 inches.......and that is after a couple of years of training.....
you make a post with a false question: " do these measurements sound good for someone who has only lifted a year", when, in fact, you played football in HS and you were/are one helluva big dude....
for a guy that weighed 311 pounds to come on and ask if his arm measurements are good for someone lifting only one year is bogus, I'm sorry.....
you know damn well that you started out much bigger than the average guy that begins to lift.....
Acknowledge it.....be thankful for it....and move on......19 is a VERY forseeable goal for you, in fact, if I were as naturally big as you were, over 20 would be a starting point of my goals......

im just curious when people post their arm measurements if they're posting cold, cold flexed, pumped, pumped flex.
Also since body building is a visual sport a lot matters such as joint size, vascularity, leaness. My arms are only 15 inches cold and unpumped but they look bigger than 15 because i have tiny joints and i have veins running through my bicep and i have bicep/tricep separation. Like your arms could be 16 inches but if you're naturally big jointed and carry higher body fat it might not be as impressive as someone with 15 inches. It depends on a lot of things

i gave him a few pointers like telling him to build overall mass everywhere and how his split and diet affects his arms
