    Cottage cheese before bed?

Who has a pot of cottage cheese before bed?

Heard the proteins are slow digesting in them, therefore you body eats at that while your sleeping rather than you muscles ect...

It tastes like ****, I dont like cottage cheese.

Also, your body doesnt eat your muscles when you sleep. Eat whatever you want pre bed, it wont change a thing...as long as it doesnt hinder your sleep.

cottage cheese has a lot of casein protein. you eat it before bed so that your body can continue absorbing protein, even when you sleep. I personally think it tastes like ****, so i usually mix it with other foods and stuff to get it in

lol, you think your body wont have nothing to absorb if you dont eat cottage cheese before?

It takes a lot of time to your food to be completly ingested. You dont need to eat cottage cheese to slow down your digestion and to continue absorbing protein during your sleep. Your dinner isnt completly ingested when you go to bed.

If you absolutly want to eat casein pre bed, milk is 80% casein (if I recall correctly). Eggs are really slow to ingest. Taste 100000 times better IMO and they fill you.

Looks like I am the only one ITT that actually likes the taste of Cottage cheese lol. Mine comes with some type of custard, but nonetheless I could eat it as a meal in all honesty. Super low in cals 13grams of protein and 90 cals in 1 serving. Helps since I am cutting and trying to prevent as much muscle loss as possible.
