Id say the bright lighting and the fact that my hair is covered in sweat from partying almost 10 hours makes it look much worse in this pic though. been happening gradually for 2 yrs now around

I can get other pics but too tired to dig them up. Hairline has been the same for a while, but getting thinner

not gonna do all that lol. doesnt bother me much yet, only shows like that in very bright lighting. but i do want to figure out what could possibly fix it in the future rather than just trying to hide it.

true, im in high school so everyone notices everything. bit of wind and i look bald as hell haha, i wanna jump the gap and buzz it but i dunno if that will make it worse

im using fin for 2 months or so now, no problems at all. I think the side effects people say are blown waayyyyy out of proportion, as many have said earlier (i was extremely scared starting also). the vast majority users of fin are likely to be people with other issues such as depression and anxiety. also take account of response bias (aka vocal minority), people with good results are not likely to give positive feedback. as another person said earlier, i have yet to see a person that is in good physical shape to get sides from fin. you can use 0.5mg every third day which will have some effect on your hair with virtually risk free side effects. I'm doing 1mg every 3rd day personally. no one ITT had any permanent side effects.

I looked into the half life stuff, but I read that DHT levels bounce back the 3rd day. Isn't the half life irrelevant?

been to a doctor 3 times, its genetic put me on rogaine ( when i was 16) might go back at 18 but fin is 90$ a month here WTF

a study showed that .2mg of fin blocked something like 90% of DHT, and took up to 3 days for a rebound, making the half life of fina not as important.

The side effect mainly effects men who are inactive, suffered from depression or low self worth before, out of shape, and don't really work out or eat healthy.

If you are a fitness freak or live a healthy lifestyle and have a positive mindset you probably won't get the sexual sides, most you will get is brain fog, insomnia, and maybe depression, and some watery sperm and teste pain.

My concern is this... I wake up very early in the AM and I hit the shower as soon as I wake up, then i'm off to work. How would you recommend using the hair creams with this kind of schedule? After I shower? Will my hair look weird as I go to work? I have about a 15 minute drive to work will that be enough time for it to settle in?

im here to clarify the Rogaine and face aging. Whenever you get rogaine on your face such as when you put it on your hair and it seeps on your pillow and you put your face on it for 8 HOURS STRAIGHT, it gets absorbed and all the bloodvessels will dilate giving you a crappy textured bolbous appearance. Never put rogaine on head and go to bed. Wash it ALL off via shower before bed.

I consider myself lucky that I even have an opinion like finasteride that will halt the progression. What did guys have in the 80s?

Buy the foam minoxidil (either Rogaine or Kirkland which is generic minoxidil) because the foam dries pretty damn quick as compared to the liquid solution form of minoxidil. I wake up at 6 everyday before heading to campus, and I apply it after I shower and towel dry my hair. Your hair should not be damp when you apply it because it says you shouldn't get water in your hair for at least 4 hours after applying the foam. It doesn't make your hair look weird once it dries (takes like 15 min?)..but I did notice that I don't have to apply any product in my hair now. I just style it after the foam has dried and my hair just stays put haha. But then again, I usually always part it to the side so I'm not doing any crazy styles either, but it works. It also doesn't make your hair look greasy either if that's what your thinking. I've been applying it twice daily (after morning shower and about an hour before bed) for exactly 17 days now since I started, as well as the Nizoral 2% shampoo 3x/week. You will notice increased shedding when you start to apply minoxidil but that is part of the treatment, it means it is working. Check my post on page 93 regarding shedding.

Also, try to use a mild shampoo if you're already shedding. Something like baby shampoo is perfect, it cleans out your hair without damaging it, leaving it soft and clean. On days when I apply the Nizoral shampoo, I first use the baby shampoo to clean rinse my hair and then apply the Nizarol, leaving it in my hair for 3-5min and then rinsing again with water.

That kid really seems paranoid. Don't buy into that brah. As long as you apply it about an hour before bed (even though the foam pretty much dries out in like 15 min since most of it is alcohol), you should be fine. I usually apply it after the morning shower and an hour before bed everyday. Been doing that for 17 days now, no pimples//do not look like I'm 40/face is unchanged, still 10/10.
