As a greek living in the UK I can tell you that Greeks are just lazy as every other country. The people in Greece are not complaining and protesting about paying taxes, they know that austerity measures are needed, but they protest because it is them (the poor working class) getting taxed to **** while the rich upper class and politicians do not (relatively speaking). The government is at fault not the people. Massively corrupt. This is what my dad says and knows many politicians and other high up greeks. As well as this everyone in greece tries to game the system.

I am pissed because we (the non Greeks) have to pay their bills while they themsels absolutely refuse to do anything about it. Blaming the government is stupid, Greece is a democracy so the people choose the government.
