Just watched Shawn Ray's preview over at MD and he said English was doing the 212, which was opposite of what I had heard.
Gotta think that Ced is going to take this one based on the recent pictures.

Seems like a lot of misonformation has been swirling around with this one as to who's competing and in what division. I was surprised that Jose Raymond was in last weekend's Optimum. I was sure I had heard him say he wasn't going to do that one. His name wasn't on the list and then he's on stage and wins it.Originally Posted by red_cat

Probably. They do change the judges out for some of the divisions, but usually the mens bodybuilding divisions have the same judges. There isn't an"open" and "212" set of judges, though.Originally Posted by Unbiasedfan

Rooting for Sami Al Haddad in the open. Mohammad Touri will most definitely give Jose a run for his money in the 212.

Oh I didn't even look at the 212 list. Hope he does well. I think he was in the mid 190s possibly low 200s that year so he better have put on a bit of size to compete w/ those big guys.Originally Posted by fltallpaul

Maybe it's just me. I really like all the guys in the lineup. I think there are some studs in this show. Johnnie Jackson is a beast. Kuclo, McMillian, Morel, and Delarosa are a big part of the future of this sport.
But strickly as a "3rd biggest show of the year" lineup, which the New York Pro show is (since 2 men qualify for the O), it's kind of a weak card. If it was any other show except for the O and the Arnold, it would be a loaded card; but for the NY Pro it feels a little weak.1

Maybe it's the win-a-show-to-qualify-for-the-Olympia process that is having an effect and guys are waiting later on in the year to try and qualify with the points system.Originally Posted by ZidaneValor
