    2g of Creatine in My Pre Workout, Should I Stop Taking 5g?

    First post pls don't bully. Not sure if this is in the right forum or not but I couldn't find this info anywhere.

    I've been taking 5g of creatine monohydrate every day, but I just ordered the JYM pre JYM pre workout and it contains 2g of creatine hydrochloride.

    Should I keep taking 5g of creatine mono along with the 2g of hydro? Or should I lower my creatine mono intake to 3g. Would prefer to keep taking 5g of that but I'm worried that 7g in total is too much. Thx

    You can probably rely on what is in JYM on the days you take it and use your Mono on the days you do not use your PWO.

    Hmmm. I may just take my initial thought of 3g mono + pre on workout days and 5g mono on off days. Because I'm working out 5-6 days per week so I feel that not taking it at all on my workout days and just relying on the pre workout won't be enough.

    I personally prefer 10g of creatine and notice quite a big difference from 5 to 10g.

    Your going to get different protocols all the time, lol.

    Id use 5 grams max on workout days only. 4-5 days a week and you will be plenty saturated.

    I would still take both...but maybe cut the creatine monohydrate dose in half?

    I try to get 5g per day regardless of what I'm taking.
