INITIAL IMPRESSIONS:
Rage Taste:
(Apple Jacked)
I’m not exactly a fan of the taste… it has a hint of sour apple Jolly Rangers or green Sweat Tarts mixed with something bad. lol Do I care? Not at all. Look it’s only a 4oz shot, so as long as it provides great benefits… I could care less. If taste prevents you from using a great product, then you need to learn to cowboy up.
I’ll be reviewing the sample of Orange Juiced at a later date…
Rage Benefits:
- Improve workouts
It’s a little too early to see marked improvements in workouts. I’m looking to see the improvement over a period of the 30 days. This will probably become relevant at the final review.
- Quick and sustained energy boost
I would definitely consider Rage a “quick” boost of energy. I noticed it kicking in within 20-25min. This is GREAT because I hate to have to wait 45-60min. for a pre-workout to kick in. I could probably take Rage and then immediately start my warm-up without waiting like I would have to with other products. The energy itself was pretty clean and non-jittery. I have a very high tolerance to stims, so 300mg isn’t too much for me. I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night, so I will judge the quality of energy on another day to be fair. I’m not sure I would call it sustained energy (at this point) because it lasted about 5hrs, and I’ve had other pre’s last longer. But like I said I didn’t get much sleep last night, so that could be a factor.
- Optimized focus and intensity
Both focus and intensity were certainly improved above normal. That being said, I would have preferred a “little bit” more focus. Compared to the other pre’s I’ve tried, Rage is certainly in the top tier. I’m not going to officially judge it based on one use though.
- Increased endurance and performance
For not having slept much… the endurance was there. I’m impressed with that on the first use. Normally on a day like today, I would find myself exhausting by the 4th circuit… but I was good to go. Thumbs up!
Other Thoughts:
My initial personal interest in Rage was based the fact that it was creatine free, used in a 4oz shot for quick energy, 300mg of stims, and it’s mood/focus enhancement. This is what suits my needs at the moment. So far so good! It's really nice to only need 4oz to take Rage, I HATE having excess water slush around before workout because I usually take in a lot between the pre shake, pre-workout, intra workout, and post-workout. lol And just to note, I noticed a good bit of increased body temperature, extra sweating during the workout, and a little bit of tingles (similar to BA tingles).

Notes:
This was an especially hard day for me to workout. I was up all night with my dog, who was having heart issues. I spent the entire morning at the vet with him and found out he was in congestive heart failure. So, my heart really wasn't into working out, but pushed on because it was probably the best way to occupy myself. :/

Thanks for stopping by!
And thanks, my dog is doing better on the medication. Now I can get back to focused workouts!
Yeah, I definitely sweat a lot more on Rage! I start sweating before I even hit the workout! lol

Day 2 Notes:
Wow what a difference a day makes!! The mood, focus, intensity, and energy were AWESOME today... far better than Day 1. I got solid night's rest last night, and it seemed to make all the difference with how RAGE affected me. This is what I was expecting. I took my 4oz shot and went right into my warm-up. The timing seemed almost perfect because RAGE hit me within a few minutes into the actual workout. I LOVE this because I hate waiting for a pre to kick in, I want to be able to take it and just go! Another thing that I like is the increased body temperature... usually it takes me a while to get warm (this time of year). Endurance and performance were spot on, as it was with Day 1.
This is a strong start for RAGE... I likey so far!

- 25% Fat Burned
- HR Max = 182bpm (97%)
- HR Avg = 168bpm (89%)
Day 3 Notes:
This is where RAGE has impressed me the most ironically... I've recently just started HIIT on my Spin Bike (my only option right now), and I've had a terrible time get my HR up in the 180's! I have to turn the resistance up so high to jack my HR that I can barely pedal the bike. This burns my legs (strength wise) for the rest of the week! RAGE just eliminated that issue and will make my HIIT sessions (and other workouts) so much more productive!! Plus, I was sweating like a whore in church... with crazy focus and intensity!! All those factors combined gave me (what felt like) one of my best HIIT workouts ever! It was a short "workout" for endurance, but my legs still felt good at the end, like I could have gone much longer. Always a plus.
And to note... Atomic 7 Black Cherry tastes... AMAZING! Honestly, one of my absolute favorites. I was gulping it down! I could drink it regularly and not get tired of the taste (like I do with many intras). And on a sad note Animal PM was out of stock where I ordered it... so it didn't come! Sad panda!

Day 4 Notes:
RAGE provided another solid workout! The first thing I want to mention is that RAGE seems to be providing more of a "long lasting" energy than it did in the first couple uses. This is pleasant bc I typically have a lot of work to do after my morning workouts. So, it works out to be double the benefit. This particular workout also allows RAGE to shine in a different way than I have seen thus far. This circuit is probably the hardest/most intense of all 6. It requires me to maintain endurance and high intensity for 60min+... I typically find myself dying through the 4th circuit out of sheer exhaustion (with HR consistently in the 180's). RAGE helped tremendously with overall energy level, focus, and endurance all the way through the 4th circuit. Atomic 7 probably contributed as well. Very happy with what I'm seeing!
Random Q's/Thoughts... I'm thinking of throwing in a bicep only workout with Sat. cardio bc I'd like to see some more development there. Thoughts?? Also, towards the end of the log... I was thinking about trying RAGE with Hemavol or LiveLong Agmatine for experimentation purposes. Thoughts??

Day 5 Notes:
Typically I do Steady State Cardio on Thursdays, but I was really short on time today, so I did HIIT. I had to get up super early to even do the cardio, so I was looking forward to seeing how quickly RAGE could get me up and motivated. Again RAGE did not disappoint. I'd say within 20min I was fully awake and full of energy, which was awesome. Normally I'm a walking zombie for the first hour that I'm up, especially if it's early. Since I'm pretty grumpy at that time, it was nice to see that RAGE seemed to quickly help me with mood, focus and intensity as well. That's exactly what I needed on an what would normally be an "off" day for me. Again hard to judge endurance on a 28min. workout. lol

Day 6 Notes:
Seems like I'm consistently hitting a few PR's every workout on RAGE... what more could you ask for? My goal every week is to be better than I was the previous week. RAGE has helped me meet that goal so far. Energy, mood, and focus are all still great. It should be interesting to see if I build up a tolerance as quickly with RAGE as I have with a lot of other stimmed pre's. There's only a select few that I didn't build a tolerance to within the first week or 2. I'm hoping I get through the entire tub of RAGE without feeling like I need to add more as I go. So, far though it has only gotten better. And just something I've noticed within the first week of RAGE is that I've lost a few pounds. I'm pretty sure this is loss of water weight (due to stopping creatine... as I tend to hold a little water while using it). That's nice to know that there is a pre out there that gives me the option to creatine or not creatine, lol. Plus, I've really enjoyed the RAGE + Atomic 7 combo. It seems like endurance and recovery have really been dialed in since I started.

Day 8 Notes:
I've decided that I will probably make RAGE my pre-workout drink of choice for HIIT Cardio (at the very minimum). I shouldn't say that it makes it "easier" (bc HIIT cardio certainly isn't easy)... but RAGE makes it more about actual cardio (the whole point) than strengthening my legs for me. HIIT cardio on the spin bike (prior to RAGE) was absolutely destroying my legs bc I had the resistance so high on the bike to get my HR up. I had chronically sore legs that had no strength left in them for circuit workouts after HIIT. Thus, RAGE has reshaped my entire week by preventing this... making cardio and circuit training performance 100% better! Energy, focus, and intensity were great, cold and all.
I have a BIG test for CEU's (continuing education units) this Sat... I think I'll bring some RAGE along...

Still impressed with the energy, focus, and endurance RAGE is providing. The effects are still exactly the same (if not better) than it was in the beginning. So, I'm glad I haven't built up any tolerance yet. I'm hoping to make it through the 44 servings without needing to cycle off stims, lol. Just to note an update that I mentioned on day 1... I find that RAGE seems to last through much of the day without any major crash. However, if I'm overly tired it doesn't seem to last AS long... but that makes sense though. Still fighting this cold, so RAGE is a big help in and out of the gym. Also, I made a few hurdles on some "harder" PR's today...

Ok soooo glad that today was ONLY steady state cardio. I was coughing up a lung most of the nite. Multi-Symptom Cold Meds finally knocked my ass out. I was prepared that RAGE may not be able to counteract that kind of sleepiness, but RAGE won that battle easily! It gave me enough energy and endurance to knock out at least 45min. I'd typically do 60min, but I'll settle for this given the situation. lol Without RAGE, I definitely would have just gone back to bed. I wasn't coming out of that fog alone, lmao.

Day 11 Notes:
I really can't say enough about RAGE at this point. It seems to be as advertised... I look forward to the very quick energy, focus, and intensity every morning now. The taste doesn't seem to be as bad anymore, not that you taste a lot in a shot any way. The only thing I miss (slightly) is a pump, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I can always add some LiveLong Agmatine or Hemavol or something if need be. I will probably try each of those with RAGE at some point during the log just to see what it adds to the table. And I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping the last several days (pretty normal for me), so I'm really looking forward to adding Animal PM in the very near future too! Why you out of stock!?! Agh!
