Hello Bodybuilding members. I am new here and i have plenty of questions to ask. I came to this website seeking for advice and help. Currently i am 5'6, 137 pounds. I am looking put more weight on. My goal by summer would be 150. I been going to the gym since September. Over the course I've been taking different types of Whey protein shakes. I started of with Body Fortress, and now i am taking Syntha-6.
I go to the gym about everyday, Monday - Friday, and Sunday, Saturday are my rest days. I work out different types of muscles everyday. For example, Monday would be biceps & back, Tuesday would be chest, wednesday would be shoulders and so on.
When i get home i take about one scope of Syntha 6, and about 10OZ of 2% milk. Then before i go to bed i take another scope of Syntha 6.
My question is, Am i doing the right thing? What should i take to gain more weight? How many scopes of Syntha 6 should i take? When to take my Syntha 6? (Mornings, After Workout, Before bed?)
EDIT: I also take multivitamins before i eat breakfast, and before dinner.
Thanks guys.

Use http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm to measure you calorie maintenance and eat about 500+ calories surplus. Generally you can eat what you want but nutritionally dense food is preferred. You could try out Kris Gethins meal plan. Works for me.

As for syntha 6, protein is protein... It'll get the job done as long as your diet is in check. If you really want some crazy gains look into GOMAD (gallon of milk a day). Good luck scott.

there are loads of videos on youtube of good workout routines check out a dude called scooby1961, but asumeing you have a good workout routine its all about healthy calories just drinking protein shakes wont make you big in fact it has very little effect apart from being a quick way to consume protein, just make sure you eating enough food to grow and build. use a online calculator or something

Some supplements that will help you out are creatine, pre workouts, and fish oils. The creatine will help your muscles recover plus give you some definition. The pre workout will make you feel like a god when your lifting. And the fish oils will support your joints, brain and cardiovascular system. Also, try buying whey gold standard protein it provides a great amount of whey isolate protein plus you won't get bulky and fat but instead build up lean muscle. Try using 1% or fat free milk or even water after your workouts in your shakes you want to try to limit your fats after your workouts so you can build lean muscle not fatty muscle plus try adding a fruit like a banana with it cuz you need the carbs preferably simple sugars from a fruit source after your workouts too. If you got any questions feel free to ask.

Hey man, my 2 cents worth is get your diet spot on now and you will do fine. You are 16 so your body still has a lot of natural testosterone pumping around, I wish I was more focused on training at that age. As far as the shake is concerned, for night time you will probably be better off with some casein or if you don't want to buy another tub of powder, cottage cheese is the before bed time snack. Slow release protein for the night. Lift big, don't overtrain and get your diet in check and you will definitely see results.
