At the revolution school the other weekend a guy walked into the second classroom session late, sweating profusly, hair straight up with dirt all over him. He sat down, raised his hand and said: "please explain brake fade to me". -CSG @Corral.net

Smashed. PR F'n PR!
Deadlift
Opener: 475
Smashed
2nd Attempt: 525
Smashed
3rd Attempt: 550
Smashed. Had more in me but wanted to secure the 1400 total
1400 Total!
I feel great about the meet. I hit my goal of 1400, hit a big bench PR. I do think I could have gotten more out of my Bench and Deadlift.
Several things I didn't like about the meet:
No Music (stupid)
No Microphone made it impossible to hear when I was on deck
I hated the jack things we squatted off
Not the meet's fault but, driving 4 hours the day of the meet was stupid
Several things I need to work on:
I forgot to take a deep breath on my squats
Need to be more confident picking weights.
I was most happy with my Bench. I am also pretty pumped with going 8/9 I placed 2nd in my weight class but only because we went in 10 year brackets and the guy that beat me was 31 and a Beast. He totaled 1685! I think I set records for my weight class/ age group since they keep records based on 5 year spans though. Will should let me know soonThe Beast Journey to Elite

Awesome, strong lifts. 500+ on the legs and 350 bench is big.

Just a fly-by post before I go to work!!
Hope you guys are doing good. I'm going to lock this thread since it's close to the 10k mark.
Will the legacy live on?? Open a new one or time to let it die??
