Hi guys, been lurking but finally feel I might have something of substance to post.
Rebecca, I'm not sure if it's available in Canada but have you heard of CareCredit or something similar? http://www.carecredit.com/
It's a loan program for health services and veterinarian procedures are included. I've not used it but did some looking into it because I almost had to, and a few of my friends have used it and it's a great program.

I've done some online research - that's where I read that he might be dehydrated or constipated.
The symptoms are that he is in pain when he poops, sometimes. Sometimes his poop looks quite dry and sometimes it looks fine.
That's it.
I don't think any vet could make any sort of diagnosis or any sort of anything based on that.
I didn't talk to the receptionist and Dr at the vet clinic and they recommended I bring him in asap.
Thanks.
It's not entirely that I couldn't find the money to cover the costs, it's mostly that I am having a hard time justifying it in relation to what it would mean for our family. And the fact that vet costs are RIDICULOUS.
In any case, we'll see what happens on Saturday.DAYUM!!!

YAY! I love it when Eva throws her powers. Sometimes I get tipsy and toss mine around like that. Sexy just shakes his head.
Also, I'm digging that Hank is doing some nice football neck strengthening exercises. Never too early to get 'em started.Simp's Back: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165133671&page=1

She can try.
What she wants and what Hank want may not match. I was stoked because Jack said he wanted to play baseball this year (he such a good hitter). But now he says the same ole thing, "I HATE BASEBALL!" and he doesn't want to play. So we're back to soccer. Sigh. Not that I dislike soccer. It's a great sport. But I so love baseball. It's not about me, though. It's what he wants and likes.
He says he wants to try football in the fall. I'd rather he wait til he's a bit older. I think football is one of the few sports that you're better off waiting til you're much older to play. But he wants to play and I don't think I should stop him. Being overprotective just makes your kids want to sneak around.
Or it turns them into pansies.
I hate pansies.Simp's Back: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165133671&page=1

Rebecca - I'm glad you decided to take him.
I've actually used Care Credit before, and it's a great program. It's interest free for 12 months, too.
Eva is still as adorable as ever and Hank has a strong head!!
Simpy - I agree! I'm ready for this weekend to be O-V-E-R.http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139911653&pagenumber=

Do they have flag football near you? Around here, they do flag until 3rd grade during the fall as a town sport, but there is a year round league for flag. It's a little pricier.

Ha, noted.
I get what you're saying and you're right, the cost at some places is ridiculous.
One of my cats had fatty liver recently and she was at the vet's office for almost 2 weeks, had to have all these tests run, fluids and a feeding tube and it was such a terrible feeling to be worried about your animal but also think you might have to face the decision of justifying the cost. I'm not sure how we lucked out with such an awesome vet but it ended up being much cheaper than we anticipated. I hope it turns out to be something minor.
In other news, I've decided to bestow my presence in this thread on my birthday and I'm going to see Elton John tonight.

Hank back bend FTW!
On a sports related note: we found an awesome Ju Jitsu program for Kadyn. Hopefully he'll start in the fall. And we're going to put both boys in swimming lessons (back into lessons for Kadyn) and I'm not sure about soccer next season. I'm not pleased with the soccer association in our neighbourhood.
I'm not sure how I feel about other contact sports. Cross that bridge when we get to it.
Agreed.
I think the main reason I haven't taken him already is because I'm afraid it will turn into a 'do we pay thousands of dollars to fix him or put him down?" and I'm not ready for that.DAYUM!!!

At the revolution school the other weekend a guy walked into the second classroom session late, sweating profusly, hair straight up with dirt all over him. He sat down, raised his hand and said: "please explain brake fade to me". -CSG @Corral.net

Belle and Mickey are 14 and 13 so they've had a good run and are nearing or at the end stages. Not to trivialize, just to be expected.
I'm trying not to worry about it until I know what it is I should be worrying about.
On another note - school tours Monday morning. I am not the least bit ready for this.DAYUM!!!

Morning. I had it out with Jack first thing this morning. Killed a squirrel before I even made it to the main road on my commute to work. And I negged someone as my first activity on this site.
