There is benefits of the way I bench and downfalls, but it's what I'm strongest at. Arching is a lifestyle too :3
Focus on different techniques and you'll have your benching down in no time

It is funny how people base a lot on age, I love trying to disprove it. In the end age means nothing as far as I'm concerned. Knowledge and application of it are what matter, and that's what I focus on

was abnormally tight in the rotators and upper back again today, mustve used the broomstick for my rotators for a **** long time.
the weight was pretty easy! not too hard, so i am looking forward to the rest of the week :3
first time benching without anything going wrong when pressing which was great.

this was easy, wot
bench went very well again, nothing too hard! bit of a struggle on the second last set, but then the last one was easy again (Y)
still tighter than usual in the rotators/upper back but not as bad, so spent quite a while with the broomstick in particular.
i don't know what to say about the squat, i took things slower, after benching and i did better than i usually do. focused on keeping very tight and slow and didn't have much struggle, definitely easier than last time i tried 165kg. will have to look at keeping things like this in future :3
perhaps i went more than i should have on squats, but i felt great and i don't believe it will interfere. the volume is obviously very low.

Bench is looking great as always my man. And I agree on the age thing, application of what you know to be true is what matters more than how old you are. I am still so fuking jealous that you're that age and lifting those kinds of weights, though.

you will be at the 4 plate squat very shortly once you can squat again, and the 3 plate bench is not far at all!

thanks man, i felt like i had 4-5 in me that day and that in itself could be equivalent to a 4 plate squat. and it wasn't ideal squatting conditions as i already had done a ton of bench beforehand!

during my first set with 120kg, my forearm gave way on the first rep and it was ****ty so i grunted. a personal trainer then decided to lean the **** over me and yell some stupid **** in my face. i don't think it's possible to ask for a greater distraction when youre not expecting it, so i racked it and told him not to say **** to me in the middle of a set of all times (i was pissed lol)
the ****er then proceeded to say stupid things to me in between sets.
the second time i ignored him.
the third i told him not to talk to me.
the fourth i lost my ****.
went and spoke to people about it and i ran out of time at the gym so i was forced to rush the last and i failed it, was pretty annoyed.
i apologise to you guys, hate to let myself down. people can be such ****ing smart arses though.
anyway, hopefully failing a set won't wreck me for tomorrow.
