I originally posted this in the misc. However i think maybe female might take more attension to it.

Was watching a show about this and it's deeply disturbing.

Obscenity is also used to ensnare women and girls into prostitution and sex trafficking. So-called "modeling agencies" or "modeling agents" take nude photos of girls and women and then threaten them with the exposure of these photos if they are unwilling to prostitute themselves

Those films that are made in the San Fernando Valley in California? They are very likely among the training tools used by sex traffickers from Malaysia to Mexico to Madagascar. There is no escaping the fact that obscenity and pornography produced in the United States damages, demeans and degrades people -- including innocent children -- around the world. The question is Misc: what are we going to do about it and do we care enough to insist that the laws against obscenity be enforced?

Now they even target kids more than ever now... I was was watching a show about in thailand a buch of old tourist in a secret place were having sex with kids aged 8-10. Really makes me sick.... when i see old fuks go to thailand.

Even Modelling companies are in on it..... They tell the teens that their going to another country for a shoot... parents think they're gone for months/years on work. When in reality they use them for sex slaves....

More money in it than drugs.

This doesn't surprise me...I know Tennessee has a very big problem with sex trafficking and every time I see a missing persons ad, adult or child, I can't help but wonder...

How weird that you posted this today.

My fiancé and I watched "Gardens of the Night" last night which was about 2 kids that were abducted when they were about 8 to be used for prostitution and pornography. The box did not allude to the real subject matter or I would have been too uncomfortable to pick it up. Quite a gut-wrenching movie.

That led me to research a bit and I read this article:

It's horrible and I have been thinking about it today. I am so thankful to have never gone through that.

I have no idea what 'I' can do about it.
