Swoosh, in light of your recent vitamin situation I wanted to make you aware of another danger lurking about. Be very careful when you eat Reeses Cups (especially if you are a fast eater) it sucks so bad to accidentally eat the little paper thing on the pb cup. It's a choking hazard and it may upset your stomach. Proceed with caution!

Oh Man!!! I've had the crappiest cold e v e r!!! It all started late, late, late Tuesday night when I woke up from a very comfy sleep to nose goo running down my left cheek and a massive headache. It was cold out and I was all warm and didn't feel good and didn't want to get out of bed and since I take up very little space in my king size bed I just reached waaaaaay over to the other side and wiped my nose with the sheet waaaaaay over on the other side. Something is seriously off with me ever since I hauked that loogie saving myself from dying a vitamin death.

When I finally did get up to go to work, all I had in the house was cold medicine that expired in 2007 and toilet paper ... no tissue, no "good" cold medicine ... nuthin. So, I used my last roll of TP for my poor runny nose and decided to take my 6 year old cold capsule to work and take it there just in case some inert ingredient turned into arsenic or something once it was expired. At least I would be surrounded by awesome doctor people who would for sure save me and send me right back to work. I did end up taking 2 of the 6 year old cold capsules and they did nothing ... and by that I mean nothing...didn't help the headache, didn't clear up the nose goo, didn't kill me from inert ingredient poisoning...nothing

So after work I stopped at the grocery store feeling miserable and mean and looking like I was about a gazillion and one years old to pick up some fresh cold medicine and soft tissue ... that's it ... 2 things. I ended up buying about 10 things, including an enormous package of Charmin which was on sale for $5.99, and trying to juggle it all on the way to the checkout stand, since I hadn't bothered to pick up a basket on the way in. So I get to the cold medicine aisle and there are three other equally miserable looking/feeling people all huddled around just staring at the massive amount of product trying to figure out what to buy. I finally decided on two ... one for daytime and one for nighttime. The daytime one doesn't do much except make my headache a little better and make my mouth feel like I ate the jar of cotton balls in the exam room and the nighttime one gave me the most god-awful weirdest dreams ever that I stopped taking it.

I haven't been to the gym since Friday when I tried a workout and it wasn't working out too well. My head was just killing me and I ended up cutting it short. When I was there on Friday my old gym stalker walked in. I haven't seen him since I told him to F-off when he tried to follow me to my car and I was in no mood for him on Friday. If he had come anywhere near me I would have ripped his head off. I decided to leave and just haven't felt up to working out since. No energy, nagging little tickle cough, can't sleep, nose goo is better though. I'm going to give it a try tomorrow morning ........... but!!!!! I'm down to 133 ... a new low in my cut

I hate being sick. It makes me grumpy

Speaking of soup (and food in general) Food Network is in Portland a lot and I found a website last night that listed all of the local restaurants that shows like Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and Man vs Food, and The Best Thing I Ever Ate have been. A group of us decided we're going to visit one a month. There are 36 on the list .... it will take us 3 years hahahaha!!!!

Portland is such an awesome city. I just started watching Portlandia on Netflix, and it's SO accurate! I love their introductory song about how the dream of the 90s is alive in Portland, and they talk about how plaid flannel shirts are still cool there, clown school totally paid off if you live there, and so on.

Speaking of soup (and food in general) Food Network is in Portland a lot and I found a website last night that listed all of the local restaurants that shows like Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and Man vs Food, and The Best Thing I Ever Ate have been. A group of us decided we're going to visit one a month. There are 36 on the list .... it will take us 3 years hahahaha!!!!

Damn wish I could join that group. I'd go everywhere but the man vs food places, I'm surprised that guy doesn't have clogged arteries by now.

We love Triple D and often think of getting a motor home and doing a trip based around where they go. One day when we are retired and down to two dogs, we'll do that! Um, 20+ years and two dogs to go!

BRB going through bottles and bottles of Dayquil. BRB only thing that makes you feel better is sleeping only because you do not have to suffer through being awake. Ugh!

LMAO at the pack of sick people huddled in the cold/flu aisle. I am always on the lookout for them when I go to CVS to make sure I run away if they approach me.

Also found those Ricola cough drops (whatever the red ones are with the spicy gel in the middle) work great for the cough, they taste awful though.

Portlandia is pretty funny! I don't watch it too often, but one of my favorite episodes was the one where they were ordering the organic chicken in the little cafe and before they ordered it they wanted to go see the farm where the chicken had been raised!!! Portland really is weird .... but totally awesome!!! I love it here!

Me no likey either, PSS I'm happy about the 133....I think I'm only going to go down to 130. It's a hard call because I still have some pretty good flubba here and there, but other areas are leaning out really nicely, but I don't want to get scrawny looking. Plus, being 5'7" I think 130 is getting a little puny. I guess we'll see how 130 looks on me once I get there.

Yeah, I ended up ditching the cold medicine. It just wasn't helping at all during the day and those dreams at night were awful and I wasn't sleeping much better on the med vs off of it....so I stopped taking both of them.

Triple D is here a lot....probably the most of all of the Food Network show. I just watched a show the other night about a couple that did just that! They had visited 100 places that had been on the show traveling around to all of them in their RV ... that wasn't you, was it .... nope, they didn't have any puppers

I had to tell the Jasonator that last week was just a wash because I didn't get my workouts in and I sure didn't feel like cardboard, so I ate soup and toast and I actually gained weight ... but I'm pretty sure it was from the sodium in the soup (and the butter on the toast ... oh and the bread that was toasted!)

When I saw that pack of sickies sniffling and staring at the cold/flu meds I just knew that be thrilled seeing someone in scrubs joining them (me) and they honestly all waited for me to pick something out before they decided! And I was like "Look guys .. I have not a clue. Apparently I haven't had a cold since 2007"

"Reeeeeeeeeeeeeee cola" You know what else works well for a cough, and tastes much, much better? Werther's Original Hard Candies .. the hard caramels. They kind of coat the throat with caramelly goodness and keeps the tickle cough at bay.

Well, kind of Feeling better equated to feeling better for about 12.3 hours .... and then I felt worse .... and worse....and worse I HATE BEING SICK!!! (<----yes, screaming right there) My cold moved over to the right side of my face and the whole crappy nose poo, headache, cough started all over again. I am sleeping pretty good though, only for the sheer fact that I'm dead to the world by 10pm. UGH

Yes ... cardboard, cardboard and more cardboard ... although I may have had a piece of particle board for dinner last night

Hi 911 I hope it's sunny out this weekend .... keeping my little Swooshie fingers crossed for sun!



I haven't posted up a workout in a while because they suck ... totally suck. I probably need to hand in my Amazon card because every single one of you just blow me out of the water and it makes me soooooooooooo frickin mad But, I'm going to put my little chin up, and flick my blond hair back, and stand up straight and put on my big girl VS cheekies and deal with it.

1. I have missed about 5 workouts
2. I have a pulled muscle in my back
3. I am sick ... maybe even dying .. oh ok ... just sick
4. I get to eat this much everyday ...

which equals 1450 calories of cardboard
5. My coach has to keep reminding me that I am not trying to build muscle right now ... just hang on to as much as possible while I lean out and to not get frustrated that I'm not making strength gains .. that is not the goal
6. Even taking 1-5 into account, I look pretty darn ok! I "look" strong and my muscles are poppin now and get jacked with veinage during my workouts and ..... I look really young because (this is a secret ... only P and Hammie know about it) for my special treat for hitting my 6 weeks of cutting misery and doing a pretty good job of sticking to it .... instead of buying jeans, undies, shoes .... I got ....... Botox!!!!!! Frickin crazy expensive, but I swear to you I look 40 or younger ... worth every single penny and poke of a needle smack dab all around the face.

I'm going to eat some din din, feed Chloe the Wonder Dog, and I'll be back and post up a god-awful workout.....promise!
