I'm no plumber, but I'm pretty sure when you're frantically trying to unclog an overflowing toilet, your plunger shouldn't turn inside out with every plunge.... and stick like this:
I'm no electrician, but I'm pretty sure a waterfall of poo water shouldn't be coming from the second floor through a ceiling light on the first floor and dripping into the toaster that was left on the kitchen counter.
I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm pretty sure water and electricity don't play nicely together
I don't know why I didn't head north on I-5 tonight after work like I really, really wanted to for a guaranteed amazing weekend. Instead I headed south to poosvilleCaring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

Ohh that is no good! I have no expert knowledge of plumbing, BUT I do remember an episode of Spongebob Squarepants where Patrick turned his plunger inside out like that and thought it was a soup ladel.
DO NOT use that as a soup ladel.
That's all I got, sorry.Current PRs:

Legs
I actually made it to the gym tonight! I know I lifted on Tuesday, but it felt like I had been away forever. You Amazon sisters blow me out of the water with the numbers you put up with your legs. My old soccer injury still bugs me. I have a standing appointment with my chiropractor to keep everything in alignment. If I try to handle too much weight with my squats, deads, lunges, my hip will pop out of alignment. If I go to the chiropractor more often then I already do, I'm sure he'll be able to retire. As it is, every time I write my check to pay his bill, I always add on the memo line "Trip to Maui, compliments of Swoosh"
SQUATS
115 x 12
135 x 10
135 x 8
135 x 8
LUNGES
30 pounds ... waking lunges... around and around and around the gym then around again. and again
LEG EXTENSIONS
135 x 12
150 x 10
155 x 8
165 x 8
HAM CURLS arms on top of bench (just like P )
40 x 12
50 x 12
55 x 10
60 x 8
Hammie cramps
CALF RAISES
This was on a plate-loaded seated calf machine. I think I hate this apparatus more then any other in the gym.....burns like hell
45 x 15
70 x 10
90 x 8
95 x 8
That completes my first week of Phase 1....even though it took much longer then a week. I will repeat the same exercises during Phase 1 Week 2 then things will change up.
Happy Friday

Thanks Swoosh!
I was so weirded out yesterday, when I was typing in this thread my words kept getting deleted and mis-spelled, 100% SRS. Is that what you were talking before about Swooshie?
LOL sorry, too bad you can't just CTRL + Z stuff like plumbing problems.

Have I ever mentioned I work with 20 women? Yes, that's 20. That's an awful lot of sharp claws and hissing. People, life is too short to be gritchy all the time............so glad it's the weekend.
I'm having dinner tonight with one of my best friends. We're going to an awesome seafood restaurant. My friend is a hard driving attorney. I'll have the grilled salmon with a side of debate, please
Speaking of food. My friend Competition Christy (she's 8 weeks out from her first figure comp) gave me these two recipes. They're really good.
I don't have the nutritional breakdown for this one, but it came from her coach so you know it's bodybuilding acceptable!
Oatmeal Pumpkin Muffins
This is for 1 serving:
1/2 c egg whites
1/2 c old fashioned oats
1/2 c canned pumpkin
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
8 drops of Stevia (opt)
Mix all ingredients. Bake in a lightly sprayed 4 cup glass baking dish for 30-40 minutes at 350.
Blueberry Cheesecake Greek Yogurt
Makes 1 serving
1 c nonfat Greek yogurt
1/4 c fresh or thawed blueberries
Stevia to taste (opt)
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tablespoon fat-free, sugar-free cheesecake pudding mix
Combine all in small bowl and eat!!

GUNZ
Phase 1/Week 2
This is the same workout I did last week, but I switched the order of the exercises around...just cause. It was a good workout and I made some progress.
V-Bar Pushdown
70 x 12
75 x 10
80 x 8
80 x 6 F
CGBP on Smith
30 x 12
45 x 10
50 x 8
50 x 8 --- barely...was cringing trying to hook that bar back in!
Overhead DB Press
25 x 12
30 x 10
35 x 8
40 x 4 f
BB Curl on Cable There's a trainer at my gym who conducts this stupid group training class. He literally takes tons of equipment off the floor to use for his class. So I had to work on the cable....which is fine
40 x 15
50 x 10
60 x 8
70 x 4 f
Incline DB Curl
20 x 12
25 x 10
25 x 10
30 x 6 --- trying to progress up to 30s is frustrating me. I did these in an upright position doing just partials while spotting with my other hand. Otherwise, I'm feeling this way too much in my shoulder
High and Mighty Cleavage Maker Preacher Curls on machine
50 x 12
60 x 10
65 x 8
65 x 8
Arms were poppin by the end...........good stuff
Random Swoosh
1. Hubby next to me teaching your wife to lift.....give her a little credit. Do you really think she can't curl more then 5 pounds?? And being an a$$hole to her does not make you look better. It just makes you look like an a$$hole.
2. Why do people hire trainers only to spend their sessions whining about what their trainer is asking them to do and whining even more about their personal life? How unproductive is that....and why does the trainer let it go on?
3. Swoosh is happy
Have a good weekend, Peeps
P.S. I had my BF recalculated at the gym today. When I started Fighter Diet I was at 19% and today I am 17.5% My weight has stayed stable. This morning I was 134. So it's doing exactly what I wanted it to do. I know the BF readings can be inaccurate to a degree, but I can definitely tell a difference.Last edited by swooshie; 03-03-2012 at 03:52 PM.

LOL! Yeah, it is a regular word in my vocabulary as a mother of young children. LOL! Actually we use it a lot with other stuff, too. (Smoothie on the ceiling due to blender malfunction = smoothietastrophe. And so on. )
WOW Swooshie!! Awesome on the diet. Makes me want to do it LOL!! I don't think I can eat a pound of cabbage at dinner (haha) but wonder if I can do some sort of modified on this bulk. Hmmm. Who knows. Great job. 17.5 is pretty darn low.
And your lifts are impressive. OH presses with the 40's! I dream of doing that someday.
And thanks for the recipes!! Just have all sorts of good stuff happening up in here today!Last edited by -H-; 03-04-2012 at 12:54 PM.

Hey thanks, H
I've definitely modified the Fighter Diet. No cabbage for this girl! Give it a try. I follow it fairly closely as far as having most of my carbs coming from veggies, but I just eat the veggies that I like....and it's working. I've taken out most grains and dairy and only eat fruit twice a week. I do a refeed once a week (that's your cupcake day!!). I really like it and I feel great on it.
Hey P....this is for you! Since we can't compare massive lifts like the true Amazons in here, we can compare cute size 4 jeans! I found these hiding in my closet this morning. I've worn a size 4 for a few years now, but somehow these were buried in my closet since the summer. They are definitely tighter in the legs and my booty seems a bit perkier in them!! Here is Swoosh in her size 4 Calvins:
Have a great Sunday! I may do some cardio later today, and then again, I may notCaring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.
