Nobody can answer this without knowing the dose you are taking. Chances are that if you are ingesting 5 grams per day, as most recommend, then it takes you a whole month before you even become saturated. So, taking for one week on and one week off is foolish since under that dosing schedule, you wouldn't even reach saturation. Most people would want to reach saturation and stay there for a while. Cycling is personal preference, but if you choose to cycle creatine, and if your goal is to allow your levels to return to baseline (wash-out) then you need to be "off" it for a MINIMUM of 4-6 weeks.

New to this whole thing so I don't know. But I was under the impression that 5g is the max amount you need. No reason to do a load cycle. But since Snorkelman said you dont even reach saturation for a month, would high doses each day -loading- help you get there or is that just the minimum amount of time it takes creatine to completely saturate the muscles?

    Help!

It may help it get there faster but for sure you will go through your creatine way faster and it could also cause some serious GI discomfort. I personally don't recommend loading at all. Just take your 5 g a day and be done with it to avoid any complications or discomfort.

There's no need to cycle creatine, although at 15, I probably wouldn't use it.

if he asks the question, that means he doesn't know the answer. so he shouldn't be knowing what he is looking for. but if he knows the answer he is looking for, then there is no point in asking the question
