    300 lb bench press at 150 lb weight?

    Can any 5'9 dudes bench press 300 lbs at a weight of 150-160?? Just curious.. I wanna know if i have any chance at this weight.. i recently benched 250 lbs at a weight of 150-155. Now im gon try an conquer 300!!

    Touching my chest, would require me to go way past parallel which would transfer the weight onto my shoulders and risk tearing my anterior rotator cuff. if you notice i am pressing with a t stance and my elbows are not close to my body... therefore not allowing a rom pas parallel.

    With proper training theres no reason why you couldnt hit 300. It just takes time and hard work but you'll get there.

    You don't touch your chest on DB bench. If you go down to far you could seriously injure yourself. Check out the video Joejn had good technique. Brah

    yeah you dont have to go all the way to chest.. but those certainly werent full reps, most people go 90% of the way to chest, for 140lbs still strong as frack
