I've heard strange stories from people I've known most of my life that aren't the type to make shyt up.

My best bro told me that sometimes when their family is downstairs they can hear what sounds like people running down the hallway upstairs.. Or sometimes his sisters will hear someone rattling the door knob.

Another friend of mine used to live by a graveyard and one day he way in the bathroom by the window.. When he looked outside he saw a girl.. he was on the second story of their house though

Anybody else hear or experience these types of things?

Yup... my sister has one at her house. Even my 2 year old niece talks about seeing it. Saw it on the baby monitor also.

Yesterday I was helping my buddy finish his basement for an apartment. He told me that apparently there's a ghost that lives down there. He took me and showed me claw marks on styrofoam insulation. I said it was probably the previous owners dog. He said "oh yeah? - Come look at this". More claw marks looks like a cat did it, slightly to high above ground to be a cat. So we come to the conclusion kids or something probably did it. Just sort of seemed a little unhealthy and in such frequency. Any normal persons nails would be torn up and foam would get under the skin and hurt to do that much clawing.

Various melt candles on the floor kinda creepy as well.

We later came to the conclusion that multiple dimensions exist - similar to that in string theory. They exist along side and simultaneously with our own dimension (the third dimension). These dimensions exist in frequencies, we are only trained and evolved to see/ pay attention to the third dimension. Essentially what a ghost is. Its kinda like when radio stations blend together on the same frequency. Thats why they appear to be there but not there. Dimensional rifts in space time.

Ever dream of people you never met? Ever dream up people unique to your dream? Perhaps your invading another dimension and are being seen by them as a "Ghost"

Eyewitness testimony is the lowest form of evidence possible. Anecdotal evidence is not any sort of proof either. Pictures showing pieces of dust and shadows are not evidence. Noises or voices on a tape recorder isn't evidence either. They are only proofs of.......noises or voices on a tape recorder

-People have a natural evolutionary fear of the dark. This is why almost all ghost stories tale place in places that we naturally find scary. Show me a ghost story that takes place on a crowded beach in the middle of a hot summer day. Ain't gonna happen.
-People are notorious for being poor observers, especially in the dark.
-People believe in ghosts because they want to and it validates an afterlife for many people. As many religious people if ghosts exist and many will say of course they are souls.

I have another ghost story.

My best bros family owns an adult family home.. For those unaware it's a house where they take care of old people. Naturally, death happens there. After one old lady died strange things started to happen. The other old ladies started having complaints and couldn't sleep well at night. They said they could hear footsteps in the hallway at night.. They could also hear the old lady talking sometimes.

Creeped me the hell out when he told me this

I didn't see it... my sister did. Said the monitor kept making a loud crackling noise. Looked and my niece is asleep and nothings happening. Makes the noise again and she looks and there is this big white thing sitting next to the crib... then it just floats over the top of the crib and out of view. Made her husband go get her out of the crib lol. =)

Really freaked her out because the kid had just told her a few days before... "theres a man standing overe there" Pointing to the corner of the room.
