One random thing I noticed.. go from 4:20. Flex Wheeler is listed as 5'9, Dorian 5'11. They look the same height there.. WHAT IS THIS????

his injuries have nothing to do with his style of training.

wut^ lol
and you dont have to be in the gym 10 hours a day to grow or even lose weight.
people seem to misunderstand the fact that when you're in the gym you're tearing muscles and you grow outside of the gym.
so 3.5 hours is 210 minutes
210 divided by 5 = 40 something minutes a session which is plenty .

Yeah, I think it was to do with his diet.

Some guys just seem more prone to injury... It's hard to explain, off course the fact that he went balls to the wall while on reduced calories state had some influence but injuries can happen to anyone, really.
Evan Centopani for example is deadlifting 6 plates, arguably could do even more at 5% bodyfat and very low-carbs, just one day after high rep deadlifting and he never had an injury...
Some guys spend their entire careers without any major injury, guys like Branch have teared almost every single muscle by 34 (granted he trains like a retard).. Sh*t happens!

not exactly. he did get injured because he couldn't hold the intensity and worked to the max every time, specially while diteting to the show, while he had to cool down a little.

3.5 hours is enough, don't know why anybody would be surprised at that figure?

excatly! Plus when I went to one of his seminars he talked about how he tried 5 day splits but in the end he really always ended up doing 4 days of lifting a week as he just got to burnt out on 5. That being said that means each session was like 50-55 which as you say is more than plenty of time!

I feel you bro. But it's counter productive to go at it longer than you need to

93' yates is one of the greatest physiques to stepped onstage!
But i'd say most pro's nowadays probably don't train much longer than 3.5 to 5 hours a week.

I'm sure if you pushed it to the limit Dorian did, 3.5 hours was just fine. Go watch the video of Dorian training Cormier!
