Anyway anyone have trouble adjusting to the new main actor? It's the third episode now and it still doesn't feel right, when I look at it now I see Crixus as the main even though hes supposed to be a supporting. feelswierd

gannicus was supposed to have become a free man so might be unlikely brah.

but fckkk, ****gy time writers this season are making it too much dramatic and gloomy for the favorable characters in the story. crixus getting caught, a potential clash between onamaues and gannicus. would rather have it been an epic alliance between spartacus, crixus, onamaues and gannicus vs the romans in some huge ending fight.

What the fuk. If Ashur killed Crixus i will never watch this show again. Crixus was always the Alpha of the show. Kinda got bored with the WK like search for Naevia, but at least the writers were smart enough to wrap it up in 3 episodes instead of drawing it out for a half the season like the Walking Dead.

I definitely miss Andy as Spartacus but I'm loving this season. I thought episode 3 was great. I'm surprised this show doesn't get more attention in the misc.

Good season so far, which I was worried about.

Things got pretty good I'd say at Ep#2. Last night's really had a ton of **** happening. Interesting to see where it goes.

Quibbles: I do miss Andy as Spartacus. New guy just doesn't have the presence he did and I think it goes a little deeper than them having to rush his casting and not giving him enough time to pump up at the gym, either. Andy Witfield was simply a special actor and brought so much to the role. New guy is fine, but he's no Andy.

I also miss Baitarticus. He was very instrumental to season #1 and the prequel. I'm not suggesting they try and soap-opera bring him back (with a "twin" or some other stupid ****), just saying he was an awesome character and his absence is missed.

This X100000. Batiatus was one of, if not the best character in Blood and Sand.

I think they should have left Batiatus alive for the 2nd season and had him rise to an even higher position of power, possibly the senate. Would have been sweet to have some kind of epic showdown at the senate and with Batiatus at the top, have Sparty bring him down that way. Would have somehow made the whole revenge thing seem sweeter and more dramatic. If anything, Glabber should have been killed off season 1.
