Yes sir, 30 minutes morning fasted.
Your welcome brother.
Such a simple thing to do after hitting a body part but also so easy to forget how effective it can be.
Right on my brother.
Thank you young lady!

Day 46
Training is going good. Very busy here at Universal Nutrition West handling normal operations and prepping for the HRT follow up production going down next week. Lots of irons in the fire. At 8 weeks through this, I'm going to post another weeks worth of vids to show what the routine is looking like. Weight is down to 238.2 lbs today.

Man Ive gotten more out of this thread and this program than anything else Ive seen or read... Started the HRT training last week and all I can say is WOW!!!! and Thank You!!!! I have a quick question regarding hydration...
I drink a lot of water throughout the day. Id say 98% water. Every once in awhile though I will throw in a squirt of MIO to add some flavor. what are your thoughts on that? good or bad?
Again... Thanks so much for your dedication and taking the time to walk so many people through the program! Very Inspirational!!!!!

Nice work Rage!! Keep it up and I can't wait to see the next set of videos.
Matt and I are busting out the Iron Contest Bulk training right now for a break but we'll be back to HRT, and the correct way this time, soon.

I'm afraid not my brother. Having too much knee trouble and seeing as though I'm hitting 45 this year, I want to avoid surgery if at all possible. Did my time on stage and went out with a first place trophy at the last show so I'm happy with everything as a whole.
that even looks like me
DaEclipse is a master of Hellcentrics...****ers always inflicting pain on me. I think I'll drop a dumbbell on his foot today...god damn bastard.
lol..see..should have left them in
Right now I take some Atomic 7 Black Cherry Bomb with some BetaAlanine about 15 minutes after then a meal an hour after that. Usually chicken and steel cut oats.Lets get to work

I have had 4 knee surgeries on my right knee. i am now 30% disabled in that leg. I spent 18 months mostly in bed hooked up to a machine that bent and straightened my knee. I KNOW what ya mean by wanting to avoid surgery. Sadly i had no choice and they have informed me that by the time im 50 ill need replacement. But in the mean time i'll shut the fk up and train.

Day 65
Well here we are on this here day 65. Waiting for some PT appointments to start working on getting this knee to cooperate a bit more. In the meantime, I have decided to hold here at about 8% until I can determine just how much leg work I can actually perform to keep at least some size in these little twigs. At my age, which I realize is not elderly by any means, but still, I want to avoid surgery if at all possible. To me, It's just not worth it to keep bangin out heavy training. I'd just assume drop down the weight and deal. I'm still going to run HRT for the next 7 weeks on all the other body parts except legs and then switch it up a bit.
So the plan is to maintain and hell, maybe add a little size in a couple areas while I work out the kinks in the knee.Lets get to work

I hear you on the knee thing bro, had to see a doc myself and I only have 2+ years training. Can't imagine what it would be down the road if I kept slammin it.
I'm officially hopping back on HRT. I've tried multiple programs since the contest ended, and nothing has blasted me the way HRT did. Steve and I have totally opposite schedules right now, so I'm hoping my body responds as well to solo 8+6 as it did to the partner program. I'm going to put on another 15 I decided. But keeping it lean.
You think I'm good to swap hack squats for my full squats on legs day? I don't know how you feel about barbell squats for HRT, but I'd like to keep them in, even if it means dropping poundage to connect with the muscle. I'm thinkin Leg Extensions, Squats, then Leg press (for quads on wheels day). I'm talkin ass-to-the-floor squats, no partial s**t. I squat best as my second exercise for some reason. Never first. Tho I know many others do it differently. Think Barbell Squats 8+6 is okay?Hellcentrics Apprentice
