i've had this problem for a long time - i mostly only have it when i curl with dumbbells, though. it seems that my forearms wear out before my bi's give out on me. i don't use straps but i do wear gloves so the db's dont slip out of my hands. when i'm curling with an ez-curl bar, i get this problem, but not as bad as with db's. its not like my bi's arent getting worked or anything, but at the end of a set when i cant do one more rep, i drop the weight and it feels like my forearms are on fire more so than my bi's. i also sometimes get "cramping" in my hands so once in a while i'll have to cut a set short by a rep or 2.
im not a big guy, so when i pick up the weights, theres not a ton of "meat" on my hands to cushion me from getting pain in my hands, but i'm more concerned with my forearm issue. do i need to work on my mind-muscle connection more (using my bi's more and forearms less)? try different grips? please help! whats wrong with me?

train your forearms.
Do some wrist curls/reverse wrist curls static holds farmers walk. The problem should cieze....The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and hear all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal.
