not really. bpm is the main difference
'drumstep' is still drum and bass. and from what ive heard drum in this thread i havent heard much drum step
drum and bass is around the 170-180 bpm
dubstep is around 140 i think
quite a big difference. which is why house and dubstep also sound so different, being that house is around 125 bpm
