he was supposed to be like a jesus christ figure, bro. Jesus christ wouldn't tackle no one. He would stand in face danger without any hesitation as the courageous man he is.

And besides that it showed the type of person the football player was. By not tackling and standing up to him in such a courageous fashion showed that he was a just a cool football player. Everyone liked him and he was nice to everyone and never resorted to fights. And he was killed for absolutely no reason. An aspiring young man, who never resorted to violence was killed by a vehement piece of trash.
