Saw this on Gillins the other day. Might interest ya.

Also, there's scuttlebutt about something big happening (non-Gillins related) today and coming out tomorrow.

The Twitters might suggest Brandon Kublanow is the commit tomorrow:
@brandonkublanow
Dreams coming true, this is crazy
Bar none the nastiest OL in the state.
edit: Tomorrow is '14 OL Orlando Brown Jr.'s birthday. He could be the one committing. If that's the case, UGA should pick up Brown, then Lemay on the 1st, with Kublanow/Seymour/Kamara between now and DawgNight.Last edited by pedobearu_aware; 05-22-2012 at 05:06 PM.

Brandon Kublanow committed:

Next to commit: Lemay on the 1st and Langley after that? Maybe there will be a surprise between then and now...

Naim Mustafaa is coming up Tuesday. He's been talking about making a decision soon.
Also, you guys might be SOL if you're trying to get cash out of ATMs near Auburn, AL. I think they've got Big Cat Weekend this weekend.
Some OLB dominoes might be falling soon: Matthew Thomas (Bama), Matt Rolin (USCe), Mustafaa (UGA> gt?)
Also heard that one of UF's OLB commits (Lawson?) is in some hot water.
Edit: Lol. Rolin commit went public.

I finally got to see Paige's highlights. Being from the area he plays in, and knowing a good bit about most of his opponents...this kid is underrated at the moment. Before you scream homer, bear with me. He's not a 5* type (plays a bit high and could use his hands better), but I see a mid to high 4* (will probably get a rankings increase once he gets seen a bit more, though this will be called a "bama bump" by the haters) with a great foundation and a high ceiling IMO. Has an unorthodox stance (butt a lil low as he lets one of his knees sit just bout 6" off the ground) but he holds the point of attack very well, even against double teams. He causes about 5+ fumbles in the highlights (I stopped counting halfway through). Not all of them are technically fumbles because I think the ball is called down in a couple but he hits hard and has a knack for popping the ball loose a lot. I was especially happy to see him play well against Pace, which is known for having an extremely strong, tough, and disciplined OL. He handles himself well and makes a good bit of tackles at the LOS or TFL against them, which is not an easy task whatsoever.
All in all I think he got sold on the Dareus/Chapman role, and I'm glad...that's exactly what he reminds me of. Could grow into a 6'4-6'5" 310+ lb NG/DT that can actually move.
Also good to see a DE with a bit of an attitude. He doesn't taunt really, just gets excited and isn't all timid like a lot of big men seem to be these days. When he makes a play, he gets pumped up. I like that in a player.

Alright, there's some strange stuff going on in recruiting right now:
Brendan Langley named a top 3 (in order) of Bama, UT, and USCe on Twitter. UGA had been in the lead for a long time, as recently as Tuesday when he was interviewed. Nobody really knows what happened yet, but it sure isn't good news.
Derrick Henry might open things back up after a visit to Bama next month. If it happens, it happens but I'm sure we'll be fine recruiting RBs as usual.
There are also a lot of people who are saying Taj Williams committed to UGA yesterday.
Also, I've got a question for the OSU guys. Do you think that you are ever going to offer Tim Kimbrough? He's listed OSU and UGA as his top 2 for a long time, but he doesn't have an offer from OSU.

I didn't really expect to win a NC with Willie Martinez on staff. The dude sucked as a DC. With Grantham and the type of players that we have been recruiting, I think we'll strongly contend in the East for the foreseeable future. A win in the SECCG is certainly possible (we could have finishes LSU in the first half if our WR didn't drop 2 TDs).
But I do tend to get a little mad, especially when we do stupid things to lose football games.

Alright so
AJ Jackson to the Barn. Very good receiving TE. FYI the UGA staff has him pegged as #2 TE in the state (for '13).
Uriah Lemay is probably not going to commit to UGA after all. Clemson/VT?
Taj Williams commit could be public Monday.
And some SEC stuff: http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/i...ng-scorecard-9

Our coaches weren't sold on his willingness to block, but I believe that his team is switching to a more pro style offense this year, so he should improve in that area.
So apparently we are pulling a UF and not accepting Taj Williams' commitment as of now. I'm guessing we are waiting until we get Marquez North on campus this summer to see where we stand with him.
Also, the Rivals 100 is out. Still not so hot. I believe the 250 comes out tomorrow.

Su'a Cravens, one of the top recruits in the nation, has cancelled his trips to Nebraska and Michigan. Cravens is probably the most highly regarded recruit out of Cali this year and is set to announce June 6th.

Brendan Langley is interesting... seems like he may just be playing the recruiting game and trying to create some 'mystery' around his announcement with everyone (at least in the past few weeks) calling him a Dawg lock. Also read though that something may have happened behind the scenes with the UGA coaches that he and his family didn't like. Regardless, I hope Carolina can get in the game with him but most seem to think he'll be Bama bound if not UGA.
Hoping SC can also get in it with Lemay now with UGA holding off but doesn't look like there is a ton of interest there and not sure how hard SC is actually recruiting him.
Carolina picked up commitment #14 from DB Ali Groves yesterday out of GA. Lorenzo Ward and SC doing work at Stephenson HS. He is a good looking prospect. Only played 4 games last year due to a fractured neck and had some pretty solid offers including UF.
And appears that JUCO LB Brandon Golson is set to become commit #15 in the next few days. He was committed to SC out of HS but didn't qualify. Guy has ridiculous burst off the edge and put up some absurd numbers in HS. Averaged over 3 sacks per game in HS and took a few kickoffs back for TDs. Shaping up to be a sick LB class with most expecting Larenz Bryant to ultimately end up a Gamecock.SC Gamecocks, back to back baseball national champs!

Rivals 250 is out:
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footbal...ings/rank-3054
Article:
http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com...sp?CID=1370346
UGA commits in the Rivals 250: #38 Henry, #85 Matthews, #116 O'Neal, #131 Kublanow, #139 Terry, #163 Ramsey, #196 Wilkerson
Marietta (Ga.) Walton center Brandon Kublanow (112 spots, No. 131), who recently committed to Georgia.
"[Kublanow] isn't the biggest offensive lineman out there but he's nonetheless one of the very best," Niebuhr said. "He plays with a mean streak for 48 minutes, and isn't satisfied unless he finishes off a play with a pancake. Brandon bench presses well over 400 pounds and also derives great strength from his legs. He uses terrific technique to produce excellent leverage play after play, and doesn't stop blocking until the whistle blows. He's always looking for someone to get his hands on and punish."
One player who continues to be a lightning rod of attention is Kingsland (Ga.) Camden County quarterback Brice Ramsey, who was off his game at the U.S. Army National Combine but bounced back at two events this spring. Rivals.com moved him up 86 spots to No. 163 overall.
"Ramsey impressed at two events this spring, and was particularly sharp in his most recent outing at the Charlotte Nike Camp," Niebuhr said. "The ball is coming off his right hand beautifully, and with a ton of zip. His motion just gets smoother and smoother and he gains experience. When he gets into a rhythm he can really wow you. The other thing that stands out is his footwork."
Targets in the 250:
1. Robert Nkemdiche
2. Reuben Foster
7. Laremy Tunsil
10. Montravius Adams
31. Marquez North
112. Hunter Henry
134. Reggie Davis
137. Tim Kimbrough
138. Kelsey Griffin
155. Vonn Bell
216. Alvin Kamara
236. Tyrone Crowder

Word is that the coaches called Langley and we are back in it with him (No clue where we stand though).
As for Lemay, I was hearing VT up until just a little while ago. Now I'm not sure what to think.
I've been hearing a lot lately about out-of-staters who really like UGA:
Tim Kimbrough
Marquez North
LJ Moore
Alvin Bailey (is he going to get a UF offer?)
Shaq Davidson ('14)
Reggie Davis
